Tate is just a better Malik.. No arm, we have so many weapons, let’s give skilled position players the ball and do the running.

Disagree with that assessment. Malik was a border line recruit at QB. He was a good baseball player. Martell's key asset is his ability to read defenses, make good decisions, and if he has to, use his legs to get out of trouble .. then either re-set and throw or run. Fact is that UM now has 3 kids competing that have ALL grown / improved due to Enos and his evaluation of what each needs to improve on .. and their off season efforts working on those facets of their game.

It’s only been 1 reported practice with 2 ints (1 that was batted at the line of scrimmage and one in 7 on 7 situation) which was the day 1 practice for martell. And he had 1 reported one to Derrick smith the other day in a one on one situation. I’m sure the other QBs and martell have thrown more throughout the complete duration of practice beyond the limited scope the media sees and that’s bound to happen because that’s what happens in practice

That’s true. The other occurrence it was written as “Smith caught one and dropped one.”

Interceptions aren’t what happen in practice, and definitely not an alarming rate. Not from your staring QB at least.

Did you notice that clip where they had to rep the screen twice? I didn’t point it out because I didn’t want to bash the kid. Go back and watch it though.

I know the practice clips don’t hold the same weight as summer workouts and Big Cane Drills but just watch it at your leisure.

The fact that Gators want Tate to start after seein Nkosi should tell us enough. Tate under center looks horrible. If he starts he better be shotgun every play. Im #TeamJarren but even his indecisivenes scares me
Thank you for your perspective !! Though I am a bit shocked that you would be openly telling everyone on this board what your worst nightmare would be come 11/2/19.

Interceptions do occur in practice period... Jameis Winston is my qb for the Bucs and he throws multiple everyday it seems. I’ll also watch at my leisure of N’Kosi underthrowing a ball while in a good pocket in his video to mike Harley too. But I’m not going to that because It’s short sighted to pick a single play and harp on about it.

So now those dumb delusional fcks in jorts, who know less about our QBs than our own fans, who know next to nothing, are the new barometer on picking the starter? You guys get goofier by the day in your thoughts.
Has nothing to do with them, If we are truly playing an under center offense and If im an opponent I would wanna face Tate

So if they are dumb and delusional and share a common perspective then what does that make those of us in agreement?

Yeah they repped it twice because he dropped it. Not because... Never mind.

Put the time stamp on the one you’re talking about. I know they had to rep that twice but I thought it was a straight drop in on a good throw.

I’ve said it before: Any fan who has made up his mind on the QB situation based on warmup clips and reports of warmup clips from guys with limited football knowledge are either dim or just looking to pick a side to stir up ****. People who make up their minds with little to no data are dopey.

How much longer is Jamesis going to be allowed to do that and remain the starter?

I don’t even follow Pro ball and I know the Bucs were looking at other QB options this past offseason.

Just give me the guy that can move off his first read when it's not there. We will pick apart every defense we face if we've got a QB capable of that.

Perry has had his struggles with that as he tends to force the ball, and I wonder if Tate just has a 3 second countdown in his head before he decides he's waited long enough and can run for it. Williams is the wild card and as of now just a complete unknown.

If Enos thinks Tate should start, then Enos should be smart enough to tailor the offense around his starter’s strengths. If he’s not, then he’s an idiot.

I hope so, I'm just lookin at his offenses in the past and I don't see the guy implementing a full shotgun offense for Tate and that's the only way Tate is gonna be successful, Any snaps taken under center for Tate will be a waste IMO

We’ll see. I trust that Enos knows his QBs better than you do and is smart enough to structure the offense around what they can do. He was very involved in the Alabaga offense last year, and it was mostly shotgun.

Enos's offenses at Arkansas reminded of McVay's Rams with how much they operated under center and how many different looks he would give you. He had it humming beautifully, too. Look forward to replicating that if not this year then one year very soon.

Imagine a coach going out of their way to cater their offense completely around Tate Martell bc of how severely limited he is as a quarterback 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
