English teachers and grammarians will say that "could care less" is wrong because it should mean the opposite of "couldn't care less." Logically, if you could care less, it means you do care some. But in informal speech people often use "could care less" to mean they don't care at all

but good to know for future reference

Thank God for grammarians.

I had one tell me that breast-es-es was NOT a word.

I explained "breast" was like, "the bullet penetrated his upper breast in the left side . . . " That's one usage. Kind of SINGULAR.

Then I gave the example: "That girl at Hooters had some healthy ******* . . . " That's TWO.

Then, "She had to have a breast reduction - breast-es everywhere . . . " Still two - but they go every which way due to size.

Then, "All the girls at Tootsies got on stage simultaneously - there was breast-es-es EVERYWHERE!"

The purpose of language is to convey meaning. As long as folks understand what you mean - grammarians can pucker up and french-kills my ***.

I don’t have a dog in the race but I voted Martell as I’ve always wondered what a Miami QB with his scrambling ability would look like

We've seen it before... Kenny Kelly, Malik Rosier

Nothing against it...I admit I haven't seen Tate in a game against competition that expects it...but back then I remember we learned then that it takes more than that against good defenses

Honestly, whoever Enos thinks gives us the best chance to beat the Gators. That's the only evaluation that I care about. While I do think Tate has a slight edge, I wouldn't be surprised to Jarren or N'Kosi under center. The next two scrimmages will tell us a lot. I do think we'll have our starting QB by the end of the second scrimmage.

Tate’s a

Tate’s athletic ability is way better than theirs

:indecisiveness:TBD...I don't know one way or the other, nor do you

Kelly was a two sports star here...so that's a tall claim to make

I'm from Mizzou...so I will believe that when I see it...

Nothing against Tate....But I learned looooong ago not to buy into anyone's hype ....until they prove it consistently against good competition

Actually questioning now is unfair. When they put the pads on and hopefully they don't red shirt the QBs, then Tate can show his scrambling ability against our defense and if he can beat ours, he will beat our competition. If he does not shine in full pads, then it is up for grabs. Apples and Oranges until they hit. Long passing is wonderful but not a game winning strategy, consistent yardage gains via the shorter passes and a running game make winners. If long passing won championships, Marino would have a pocket full. Not condemning the long ball, just trying to justify why we may have a consistent QB that hits long ones via YAC based on the tremendous athletes we have.

Hurts still hasn't won the OU job. I mean, he most likely will, but Riley still needs to see more apparently. But it is telling hes not naming him the guy yet, which further reminds you:

These qbs are transferring for a reason. These aren't Cam (kicked out) or Patterson (sanctions) situations where the player had other reasons for leaving. They're leaving bc they cant win starting positions.

Yeah yeah, I know, I know. Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray.

Tate ain't either of those guys. Nope.

Doesn't mean hes not better than 5 or 18. But the simple fact remains that he left OSU bc he wasnt getting PT and was basically told to bounce by the new coach (who was his qb coach for 2 seasons btw) who brought in a transfer whose most memorable play at the collegiate level so far was a botched fake kick. Big red flag.

Anyway, I'm rolling with whoever Enos evaluates and determines to be the best.

I'm happy any of the 3 options.

Hurts is an excellent scrambler too

But at Bama he fell short in other areas.....OU's offense also requires having an arm too

Nobody is talking about deep balls.

Tua at the U now?
Just a point that I don't view who I'd want as the QB1 in light of ethnicity. Tua is pretty much from Mars, and the "racist" Bama fans couldn't give a F as long as he wins.

Race baiting tards who try to divide people on that are useless. These posts should probably be deleted because it's about football, nothing else.
