If - and I doubt it - Richt could admit he needed more from less - who are some of the hot OC's that UM could maybe entice to come here?

Someone who won't continue to run straight at a packed middle where there is NOTHING.

Good news is Rix set the bar so low that almost anyone dedicated solely to calling plays from the booth would do better.

The school needs to do some homework and get an upcoming NFL position coach like when we found Jedd Fisch.

You guys realize Richt likely spent all the $ he had on staff right? So unless he is gonna fire a bunch or ask Blake for another $600-$1M for a OC, we aren't getting one.

Art Briles.

Miami Herald and SMD can print out a story "Father Richt washes away Briles' sins, gives him second chance in life", book it.

In terms of who we could actually get at discount and would want to be in Miami, I can't believe I'm saying this, but Ken Dorsey.

Why do many of us assume Richt will not make any changes to his staff? What is Richt's history at UGA in regards to assistants? Was he surrounded by the same staff for all 15 years?

Perhaps because Golden never fired a coach?

How about the OC at Texas? He seems to have done a good job. He may be available if UT fires Corch Skrong.

Wasting your breath my friend. Most here don't realize that is why he hired some of the offensive guys that he hired. Plus, one of the main reasons that he came here so he could call his own plays anyway.

I think it would be natural for an established coach to think his system will work over time, and I doubt the AD is going to put pressure on him to make any changes. I don't think it's an indictment on Richt the way it is on Golden, but it seems as unlikely because it's his first year.

**** with Rick's job security he can have his pick! Jedd Fisch is not leaving Mich for a lateral move. Look out for Mike Bobo because CSU may give him his walking papers. Rick will still calll the plays but needs help with game management and planning. Right now we run 1 play maybe 2.

He won't go back to CEO he would rather retire in that case. This is a guy who is financially secure I mean he donated $1 million for the new facilities. Why not make him AD and fire Blake?

If Rick is so stubborn about calling plays, I would be content in bringing in a veteran offensive mind that could help him gameplan like BigJoe said. Right now, he's got a very inexperienced staff on Offense that can't help him much in offensive game planning, a fresh set of trained eyes could do the world of a difference
