If I had to pick one , Cam Ward's debut is probably my favorite. As soon as he took the field you could feel something was different about that team. I've never seen someone so calm under stress to the point where he was literally walking away from defenders running full speed at him. His debut was the start of Miami re-establishing their dominance over the sport.

Without question .. December 31st, 2025 Cotton Bowl ..
1.) because l live in Austin and can’t make to as many games as I did when I grew up near the O.B.
2.) I’ve had a **** taste in my mouth since the 2001 OSU Natty .
3.) although I sat on the Miami side I had 3 OSU fans sitting to my left. So when Keonte intercepted that thang.the **** look on their faces was worth the price of admission and the 6 hr round trip drive ..
4.) I’ve wanted that rematch for 24 yrs and got to watch it live and celebrate it on New Years Eve ..
5.) My favorite game attended ever.
6.) Saw my Canes family travel all the way to Texas and rep the Orange and Green to the fullest.
7.) Witnessed the Hurricanes put a beat down on OSU ..
 
1. OSU - taunting the FSU fans that sat in front of us to hate watch. Doing the war chant at them yelling “maybe you’ll make a bowl game next year!” Spent hundreds of dollars to watch Miami whoop Ohio State when all they have is a 2023 season ending in an *** beating. Definitional game of the Mario era.

2. Florida ‘24 - so surprised I didn’t end up scrapping with anyone. Doing the Brock Berlin gator chomp slash and mocking “won’t back down” at everyone around us.

(Sleeper pick) Clemson ‘23 - classic Mario ball and his young bucks from his first few classes won us that game based off sheer physicality. Showed me what we could be if it all came together and a changing of the guard in the ACC, pushing Clemson around. 2025 was the culmination of those classes. Now, on to the next… 😈

1. Ohio state
Huge gap. Then,
2. Texas A&M 2023. Season before was so bad, I came in thinking we might be screwed forever. This was like no, give it time.
3. UF 2024. One drive of Cam I knew we weren’t losing. Could watch in total comfort.
4. Clemson 2023. Bain coming out party. Saved what might otherwise have been a sneaky miserable season.
5. The Cal comeback was such a crack bender that I hated but the payoff was worth it. Barely.

Last place by a mile- Ole Miss. objectively, great game. Subjectively, I’m too old for this ****. I had 40 heart attacks. It should never have been that close.

I’m surprised Notre Dame isn’t on here but that game was a little like Ole Miss and I was very annoyed that we weren’t gonna blow it. But we didn’t

Agree Clemson is the sleeper
 
It’s the three playoff wins for me since we finally won something of significance in the post season again. It had been some time since we won a new years six game and they happen to be playoff games. It had been forever since we did that man.

If I had to pick one of the three I’d go Ohio state for obvious reasons. Exercising demons and they were better than ole Miss that’s just how the bracket played out.

Honorable mention to cam against ufag in 2024. It really felt like we had turned a small corner there
 
OSU and it’s not even close, in my opinion. Any Canes fan who had to suffer through the 2002 robbery and then watch them go on to become one of the top programs while we languished in failure for 20 years should feel this way.

We needed that win beyond badly.
 
For me it's the Cotton Bowl and knocking off Ohio State. As fans we've had to eat a $**** sandwich before Mario arrived. We got called the off season champs, and we'd be mocked every year with the slogan " The U Is Back." Even when Mario started landing high caliber recruits, ppl like Cardale Jones would say "well those guys are only going to Miami for the bag, they won't be developed or play for anything that matters." Beating OSU that night gave everyone who's associated with the Canes from coaches, players, staff, and the fans, a reason to walk tall and say yeah we are a serious program now. Hopefully this is Mario's best win for right now, and the best is yet to come.
 
That trifecta of beating tamu,osu and ole **** back to back to back was as glorious of a run that I’ve ever seen.

I made the trip out to Arizona for that game to exercise some fiesta bowl demons and we did exactly that.

With that said , being in the stadium when we beat ole **** the way we did and shutting up their obnoxious and rude as **** fans has to be my favorite win of the Mario era.

The celly after the game was epic!!

One that hasn’t been mentioned enough IMO is Notre Dame 2025. Obviously great to beat them anytime, but on top of that, we all know and shouldn’t take for granted the significance of that win for us even getting in the playoff to have that magical run.

And during the game itself… Toney announced himself, CJ Daniels had an all time catch, our D- line dominated the team that went to the natty just the year before. It all showed we weren’t far from the mountaintop, even before we beat Ohio State convincingly.

Being there that night, when Brown scored that last TD, and we all realized that Miami was actually going to do this - it felt cathartic. It was truly a surreal experience to be there (especially since I was there in 2003 for the Fiesta Bowl.)

We all though to ourselves, ''Mario's vision is coming into place."

1a. Ohio State - It's Ohio Sate. The win ended their season! I can just imagine the locker room after going down....

1b. ND - It was so fun with how shocked everyone was afterwards! You know everyone expected us to lose. Lost the Bowl game the year before, Everyone thought it would be completive, but ND will win. That was the win the outsiders took notice of!
 
Ohio State.

The lead-up to the game was funny because *****eye fans were talking all this crap on Twitter and were in everyone's mentions trying to intimidate anyone who dared to give a neutral analysis of the game. Then the game was played, and feelings were hurt. They are still salty, and their #1 whiny receiver is still pressed over us.
