Sorry I should clarify. My father in law wasn't at the game with us. So luckily the interactions were limited.

If I had to pick one , Cam Ward's debut is probably my favorite. As soon as he took the field you could feel something was different about that team. I've never seen someone so calm under stress to the point where he was literally walking away from defenders running full speed at him. His debut was the start of Miami re-establishing their dominance over the sport.

Fiesta Bowl - beating Ole Miss
 
Hard to pick a single one out of that playoff run, but the A&M game felt so good. I remember screaming to the top of my lungs when we got in the playoff and I was hyped all the way up to kickoff. And the actual game let me know we had really turned the corner as a program. So many twists and turns and momentum shifts other seasons we would’ve folded. From the fletcher run, toney turning the corner and scoring the only TD, to Fitzgeralds pick to seal it. Man I was lit

Screaming WON'T BACK DOWN and laughing at them at the end of the 3rd quarter will be etched in my memory forever. Watching them file out genuinely miserable. I hate these people with all my soul. It's WAY more than football, or sports. I genuinely despise gators as humans, which calling them that is a stretch. It's genuine hatred, not silly rivalry hatred. I wish the absolute worst for them, in life. So sitting in the middle of all their big donors just watching Miami kick their **** in for 3 straight hours was honestly up there with the 5 best days of my life.

4. ND 2025 -- Another incredible college football game. Was there as well. Anytime you beat ND, it's a wonderful night. And that one felt BIG. Wound up being the difference in making the playoff, obviously. But just being in that atmosphere, watching Bain and Mesi end their hopes, at night...just an incredible evening.

5. A&M 2023 -- Unpopular opinion, and obviously the wheels fell off, but 2022 was *SO* awful. When we won this game, obviously we weren't back, but it was the first time I felt we were headed in the right direction under Mario.

Cal 2024 was fun, but insanely stressful. I legitimately did not sleep that night, I laid in bed at about 4am, finally, and just gave up at about 6 and made some coffee.

A&M 2025 was INCREDIBLE, but the game wasn't overly amazing. Both offenses stuck in mud, missed kicks, drops, fumbles. Amazing win, and the end was great, but I don't think that was a 10/10 football game.

After that Gator game was done and Cam and Jacolby had Gator DBs standing in the bushes, I knew the time of our guys looking afraid in big games was in the past. Shoutout Cam for real

D$ has the best explanation for it. For the whole Mario era (or the past twenty years i forget) up to that point, everything was in B&W. Then when Cam was walking/jogging out of bounds after picking up the 1st down, with that calm swag to him while knowing the UF defender wasn’t going to do anything to him, everything gained high-definition color.
 
If I had to pick it would be OSU. The joy I felt during that whole game was pure bliss. We also controlled it the whole time so I wasn’t very stressed. Draining the swamp would be #2 with Texas A&M after it. That one was tough and physical lol

Lol you weren’t stressed? I remember meeting some friends at halftime and they were all elated, happy as could be. Meanwhile I’m sweating bullets and kept telling them, “they can easily come back”. Of course, start of 3rd quarter they go on a good drive and score TD to make it a one score game. Then another touchdown at the start of the 4th to make it 17-14. Don’t get me wrong, I was ecstatic about our performance throughout the game….but I was stressed the entire time until Marty brown scored with a minute left to put us up 10.

Also agree with pretty much every single word. Except the ‘25 A&M take. I thought that game was awesome. Was on the edge of my seat the whole time. It was an old school back and forth battle all game. Even after the missed field goals, I was never overly “upset” because they were facing the same conditions and our defense was playing elite. Fletcher running like a beast all game, the Fitzgerald INT at midfield, the Bain blocked FG, the Mali punt return where he almost housed it…so many good moments before the epic finish with Mali TD and Fitz INT in the endzone. Pure joy seeing Mario being interviewed after the game, Irvin kissing him on the cheek (lol), Joe E celebrating with the players and hugging Mario….realizing all the hard work that it took to get there. Complete validation that we belonged. Just a great game and afternoon all around.

That's perfect. After watching how we competed against Clemson in 22' and vs Bama in 21' I knew in a few plays we weren't those dudes anymore

Yeah, I had it as my #6 but wouldn't argue with you if you wanted to move it higher. First playoff game in our history is obviously incredible. I just felt like a lot of the game in the first half was stuck in mud. On both sides. The wind we know was a factor, both teams had good defenses. And I'm not the guy who says a game sucks because there aren't a lot of points on the board, but I just felt both teams made a lot of mistakes in the first half. But of course, I was completely unhinged, and after the game was one of the best feelings I've ever had....except the 2 additional ones in Dallas and Glendale that followed.

But definitely an amazing win.

Has to be Ohio State and it’s not really even close, I won’t repeat the reasons everyone else has said.

One that hasn’t been mentioned enough IMO is Notre Dame 2025. Obviously great to beat them anytime, but on top of that, we all know and shouldn’t take for granted the significance of that win for us even getting in the playoff to have that magical run.

And during the game itself… Toney announced himself, CJ Daniels had an all time catch, our D- line dominated the team that went to the natty just the year before. It all showed we weren’t far from the mountaintop, even before we beat Ohio State convincingly.
