I want uf and fsu to lose every game every year. I don't care who they play. Hate doesn't take days off. Just ask Seminol Vern

So you want the hardest team on our schedule to have increased confidence and buzz when we go there with a freshman QB? You also want our biggest rival to gain positive buzz which will help their recruiting. There's nothing good that comes out of FSU winning.
 
I want fsu to go 0-12

Who cares if they help our SOS? We take care of our own business and don't have to worry about any of that BS
 
I believe we'll win our 3rd game and the ACCCG regardless, but I'll be ACTIVELY rooting for FSU because AL recruiting affects us more this year than FSU (same with Clemson, OSU, AL and GA). We can only beat the teams on our schedule so I'll be rooting against all teams that have recruiting success in Florida, especially south Florida. Beating FSU twice in the same year tells recruits the streak is 2-0.

AL - lose to FSU, TxA&M and Aub
GA - lose to FL, Aub, KY and Vandy
FL - lose to FSU and Auburn
Aub - lose to TxA&M
LSU - lose to FL, AL, TXA&M
OSU - lose to OK, PSU, and MI
PSU - lose to Pitt, MI
Clem - lose to Aub, FSU and VT

The team that shan't be named - lose em all! Ghost of Faust!

LOL at this. If we beat FSU and everyone else we're in regardless of how many losses FSU has. If we beat an FSU team that goes undefeated but lose to Pitt and GT we're out. No one voting on playoff stuff will penalize UM for beating FSU.

If you guys want to justify to yourselves rooting for FSU go ahead. But it's nonsense. ACC Champ will be in the playoff unless they have 2 losses regardless of the records of the teams that they beat along the way. ACC has mega juice.
 
tough choice but I'm would slightly favor Alabama losing. It's better for Miami to beat an undefeated #1 ranked FSU

I would love to know the reasoning why any Canes fan would want FSU to win. Who cares if we beat an undefeated FSU team or not??

The only benefit of them winning is for our SOS and that only matter for the playoffs. Every year its the same, oh I hope FSU beats Ole Miss so we play them undefeated, I hope FSU wins all their games before Miami. Then if they end up beating us, it is useless, they are now still undefeated. Even if we did beat them them having an undefeated record would only matter if we are looking to get into the playoffs and have lost a game.

Now if FSU would lose 4 or 5 games that would pay huge dividends in recruiting. So I always hope FSU loses.
 
this isn't the bcs era, fsu being undefeated or not does not matter

we win the acc, we are going to the playoffs end of story
 
Under NO circumstances should any Cane pull for FSU or UF to win.

Hating the Gators and Noles is at the core of being a UM fan.

Just my opinion.

So you're saying that if we went undefeated we'd be in the playoff? When's the last time we went undefeated? Or the last time we won more than 9 games?

Playing the high odds that strength of schedule WILL matter in our final CFP ranking, I'd rather FSU win.

As a Dolphins/Hurricanes fans, I'm surprised there isn't more hate for Saban around here. I can't stand to see him win.
 
I didn't really think it through but I voted for alabagga because Miami can slap fsu with a loss but may not get to bagga to get them a loss. Like I said, I didn't really think it through, so maybe I'll take the L on this one.

Alabama has more respect than any team by a million miles. They've made it all 3 years, and if they are even close they'll be in. FSU was coming off an undefeated national title season and were undefeated in 2015 and were ranked behind a 1-loss Bama team. It's unreal.

The game in question involves 2 teams we all hate, so nobody wants anybody to win. That's not an option, so some of us are picking the outcome that helps us. Maybe we don't need fsu to win their other games, but at least it makes our win over them look even better. Bama winning just helps them and furthers the idea that the sec is the greatest thing since the invention of the ******.
 
Every single person in this thread who wants fsu to win should never ever post here again and find another team to root for, because you're not a Miami Hurricane fan deep down. Check yo self out of here.
