Man, lots and lots of NJ dudes on here.

Why wasn't there more love for Al Golden???

Kendall origin for me, btw.

Born in Miami. Moved to Tennessee at 5 or 6 months old. Known I was a Cane since I was 5 (born into it dad, uncle, and grandfather all alumni) Watched a game vs Syracuse on tv and loved it. Got a canes starter jacket and a pair of green starter pants with an orange stripe and a U on the left pocket for Christmas and that was it. Wore the thing to kindergarten every Friday from January-March like a boss

Born in Cuba, grew up in Miami(Jackson 68). Living in Houston Tx. Fan since George Mira years, visit once or twice a year. So great the U is back!!

Nashville TN born and raised

Wanted to go to UF most of my life because I loved vacation and spring break in FL.

Then realized where it was.

Bad Boys 2 came out around 03 and made me want to visit Miami for the first time.

Came down with the parents and visited palm beach and south beach etc. Watched the Miami game in the bar area at the Loews south beach when we pounded VT in blackburg.

Knew where I was going to college after that.

Cane alum now.

I’m from Louisville and been a Canes fan since I was 12 (‘82). Louisville was so bad at the time you could cut game tickets off the side of milk cartons. Kentucky wasn’t much better after Curci got busted. Shnelly (also from Louisville and played at KY) thankfully showed me the light and I’ve lived and breathed ‘Canes football since. I tried hard to quit Canes football during Golden’s tenure, but I can’t give up the U

Born in Hialeah

Been a Canes fan my entire life

Moved to East TN when I was 11 years old. I've gotten so much **** my entire life for being a Canes fan from these ****bag Volunteer fans (they deserve every bit of what they're getting right now). Also, a surprising number of Gator fans in the Knoxville area.

Got my Bachelors degree from the University of Tennessee because they basically paid me to go there (I was the guy who wore Canes gear around campus)

Got my doctorate from Belmont University

Currently live in Nashville, TN

Sorry to be intrusive, but what college are you attending?

Born and raised in Iowa. First College football memory is watching Miami in the early 90’s. Shortly after that my family went to Minnesota for a trip. Dad took me to the Mall of America and bought me my first Canes hat. I have been all Canes since that day.

Born in Miami... Went to first canes game at 3(nd game 83)
Didn't start paying real attention to football till 85,saw um beat nd 58-7 on TV... Even though we moved to Cali dad still follow them and I copied.
86 I watched all year and was crying when they lost, still mad at Vinny.
87 I watched the while year and been die hard every since

From Cypress Gardens Fla, Live in Burbank CA. One of my best friends dad played football for UM and used to watch Canes games at his house. Became hardcore when Jim Kelly was playing with them and even more when they won their NC titles.

Born in Hollywood, father born in Ft. Lauderdale. Grandparents moved to South Florida in the '30's. Grandfather went to Pitt, but was Miami fan upon moving down here. He bought bonds to help fill in the OB's west end zone. He took my Dad to Cane games when Mira was the QB and my Dad took me in the '80's. I was the first in the family to get my degree from Miami.

Panama City Beach

Dude... I envy you.
I have a dream... wish that U of M would sell the Coral Gables campus and for the $$$ buy another campus somewhere in PCity or Destin, and build the finest on campus stadium.... then have all Canes fans move up there.

Panama City is a complete **** hole. An hour to the nearest interstate. I live in TN now and I love it.

Born in Cuba
Moved to Little Havana 1980
Could hear the OB rocking from my living room
Started sneaking in to see games when I was 10

Spent most of my life in NJ, now in NY. Used to visit grandparents in Fort Lauderdale growing up. Remember attending one of the games as a kid with my dad and while walking towards the OB the band was directly behind us and one of the band members put his hat on my head, such a great moment. Grew up watching them and that passion for watching the Canes only intensified. To me it's more than just a game, people don't get it, it's a Cane thing!

Born at Mercy Hospital overlooking the great Biscayne Bay, just a few short miles from the late great OB. 1977. It’s been a charmed life.

MIAMIAN BY BIRTH, MIAMI HURRICANE BY THE GRACE OF GOD.
