Where is the Gators hype coming from?

The “barring major injuries” thing isn’t just a normal concern that most teams have though. Their OL got both QBs seriously injured last year, and Lagway’s throwing shoulder was reinjured, on an injury that goes back to high school and needs surgery. He also lost time last season with a hamstring injury and this spring with a core injury, and today, in June, is still not yet throwing full-time.

If Lagway gets hurt, the 2nd string QB is a guy who is now on his 4th school because he can’t make it as a starter, and the 3rd string QB is a previous walk-on who transferred from Yale (see my post above for how he performed in the UGA game - it wasn’t good).

They may have an FSU 2024-type season if the OL doesn’t do its job and Lagway gets hurt. For Lagway’s sake, I hope that doesn’t happen, because I would never wish injuries on anyone, but there is no real depth behind him.
 
Come on man yall hating. UF is nothing like the 2024 fsu team. Yall just don’t watch other teams enough. On offense UF has really good wide receivers. Solid oline play. And Jaden Baugh is a stud. He’s just as good if not better than fletcher at this point. On defense they have good linebackers and solid secondary and line play. There key will be keeping Lagway injury free. I know I’m contradicting myself but I always think Lagway should run more. If he runs more and teams have to use an extra defender to stop him running look at out for there wide receivers. Issue with UF is there schedule is tough.

WTF,, there’s no Love like Gator Hate. Except and equal to the SemenHoles. As much as I can appreciate an honest analysis of these cucks, if should never diminish the utter disdain and dislike of everything and everyone rooting for them. Other than the Fiesta Bowl abortion that cost us our Sixth NC, IMHO, the “Gator Flop”, is the Original Sin, never to be forgotten nor forgiven. But, Everytime we step on the field, it’s our mission to S**tcan them and throughly embarrass them. So, it’s a hard pass on not hating them. F**k em. They lost their best Corner. Their secondary is weak IMO. The DL is good not great. OL is being overhyped. Watch our game from last year and we were wrecking them upfront. Lagway is good but he hasn't proven sh#t.

I don't get why the bandwagon is so consensus and there isn't more of a balance of hype between them and for example a team like OU which added Mateer, Ott, and the Wazzu OC to a strong defense.

Just like how everyone jumped on this bandwagon that Allar and Lagway are now better than Beck and Nussmeier, whose homework is everyone copying to come to this consensus.
