Where in the World is Dan Radakovich?

He doesn't like the water at Hecht... with the idiocy coming out of there over the last 2 decades, that might not be a bad thing..

My mistake he was great. Sorry.
you're right he was fantastic. i just re-listened.
Would you care to qualify why or how he sounded like a clown?

I barely paid attention to what he was saying and that usually happens when I hear canned responses to less than great questions. The only thing I remember is him giving an emphatic "NO" when asked the stupid question of whether Miami was going to build an on-campus stadium.

i'm less concerned about his remote work than i am about his idea for BOGO conference game tix. not even FIU does that ****

Nothin too small for some here to sweat over. Welcome to 2023----people live and work all over the place. Judge him on the job he does not where he has homes.
Especially when the report sounds like he travels back to SC on the weekend likely when he is not needed in Miami and then commutes back to work Monday to Friday from campus. As mentioned by others as long as he isn't missing fundraising events or similar things that require in person appearances by him who cares if he runs staff calls from an office in Coral Gables or his house in SC.

Looks like Danny Kanell with blonde mullet braids:

I thought he came across as very genuine. I can't remember the player, but someone made a play. He commented about it, talked about the player, and talked about how great the kid was. It was awesome. I was thinking, Blake James probably wouldn't have had a clue who any of our guys were.

Yet there are some of us that simply never think of Blake James whatsoever …

The better than Blake, better than Manny standard needs to die….

I don't sit around thinking about Blake James. I'm simply stating that its interesting that our AD actually has bonded with the players. Most AD's don't.

Miami money stretches further in SC. Probably finessed the school into paying for his travel back and forth… lodging too.

If I recall, he wasn’t looking for a job… he was approached. So he probably threw out what would normally be absurd conditions to see how badly we wanted him.

If he did I wouldn’t blame him one bit.

Post-COVID, that is no longer a "finesse" move, it's just fairly common.

My CFO lives in Charlotte. I work in Atlanta. He is frequently in Atlanta. VERY frequently.

When you compare executive compensation to the (relatively) inexpensive cost of air travel at major hubs (MIA, ATL), it's really not such a big deal.

He's stays at Saban's house on Jupiter Island on occasion. The fix is in that way for when Saban retires, him and Dabo will go to Bama. It also allows for them to get the best recruits we have locally.

I'm sure there's one wingnut here who will believe this. It's clearly a joke. Who cares where he is if he's performing his job? I sure as heck don't care where he lays his head at night. I will say that if his Wife didn't wish to join him down here, that's never a good sign for their marriage or his future here.
Is it?

I will measure his success on if he gets us out of the ACC and in to the SEC / BIG 10 in the next 5 years, builds us our own stadium before the lease ends at Hard Rock and does not renew, and gets/keeps our recruiting/staff budget in the top 10 for FBS.

That's what I care about from him. Don't care where he lives, don't care about the other sports, and don't care about improvements to the Hecht or other practice facilities etc.

Conference, stadium, and staff. That's what I want to see from Rad.
