Name a coach that has publicly said, “I no longer want to coach *current* team but instead I want to move to *here* and coach *this* team?Mario Cristobal Rumors
"We're at the point in the season where we are going to see a lot of Mario Cristobal rumors. We know there is already a lot of talk from Miami about the Hurricanes wanting to target Cristobal as their top guy should they move on from Manny Diaz, which is very possible after this season.
Here is the rub from what we are told. If this was 2018 there would be a chance this could go do. But this isn't 2018 anymore. The programs are in totally different places. The Hurricanes only real advantage over Oregon is that they are "home" for Cristobal and his family and the ability to recruit in a short area for all your players. Every other factor Oregon has the edge. Most importantly, Oregon is set up for a playoff run over the next few seasons, starting now. We're told he doesn't want to walk away from that right now. He's committed to the program and the long-haul. Now things could change, we've seen it before. On our end, there isn't anything out there to really get too worried about yet."

I'd be fine with Aranda, he's everything we were hoping Diaz would be. If we go Aranda I would like to keep LashleeThank you. The only thing I will correct is that our #2 candidate is not as clear as #1. There is love for Aranda and others. The new AD will make the ultimate pick based on the interested choices.
Bless your heart my friend!Quick summary:
— Manny and Blake were essentially done after the Michigan State game. That’s when most people turned on them.
— DMoney identified the names of all the important boosters who are working behind the scenes to make this program relevant again. He brought up how many of them are connected, personally, to Mario.
— Mario is choice #1. Kiffin is choice #2. We’re most likely going to end up with one of those two.
— Mario is 50/50. We’ll be able to match whatever offer Oregon counters with, and the tax situation in Florida is advantageous compared to Oregon. It will also be tough for a Cuban like Mario to turn this job down. -- A lot of pressure to come home. With that said, we need him to lose to Utah this weekend. It would greatly improve our chances.
— Kiffin will come here as long as we match the Ole Miss counter offer, which shouldn’t be a problem. He’d rather live in South Florida instead of Oxford. Having Van Dyke, Garcia, and other offensive weapons in place makes this job appealing to him. He’s about to lose all of his starters at Ole Miss, so he knows next year will be a rebuilding year if he stays.
— If for some reason we don’t get either, Aranda will probably get a call. He is apparently interested in the job.
— On the AD side of things, Jurich has legit interest. Alonzo will most likely end up being a football ops guy — he’s not necessarily an AD candidate. We should have someone in place before December, at the very latest.

Your crazy to think Mario don’t want to come home to Miami and the pressure he’s feeling from the Cane family and his mom and wife. He wants to come here on his terms.Mario Cristobal Rumors

A coach that adjusts and learns… they do exist
Lol at Aranda 5th....He should be atleast 3rd...If he came to UM...We'd have the #1 Defense in the ACC within a yr...and Top 4-5 in the country in 2yrs....Yeah pretty impressive how he's turned it around. He wouldn't be in my Top 5 but I would be fine with him coming.
1A Lane Kiffin
1B Mario Cristobal
1C Bill O Brien
4th Huge Freeze
5th Billy Napier
Then probably Aranda
On a minor personal note, I had CIS posters who got all over me for bringing up Bill O Brien as a possible HC, and I mentioned that other folks were mentioning him, which they tried to refute. Thanks, Mackmiller!! ;-)Yeah pretty impressive how he's turned it around. He wouldn't be in my Top 5 but I would be fine with him coming.

I'd love to see a O'Brien hireOn a minor personal note, I had CIS posters who got all over me for bringing up Bill O Brien as a possible HC, and I mentioned that other folks were mentioning him, which they tried to refute. Thanks, Mackmiller!! ;-)
There's been 19 threads on HCs, with posters having a different list in every one. All bases have been covered. On a minor personal note, I had CIS posters who got all over me for bringing up Bill O Brien as a possible HC, and I mentioned that other folks were mentioning him, which they tried to refute.
