I feel for the kid, but this is what happens when diva-like players think that they are bigger than the program.
It's an HBCU with a great history and fan support. Founded in 1867. http://alabama.stateuniversity.com/Man. Alabama State. Sounds like a place you end up if things don't work out in your career pursuits at The Waffle House. They at least have a good MBA program?

HBCU..code word .. it’s a racist institution who doesn’t recruit people of other races and follow affirmative action laws
Baseball especially, had many friends play at FAMU...and also received .minority scholarships. Many HBCU teams have white players on their teams these days and this is especially true for their soccer and baseball programs.

IIRC Alabama State had a team a couple of years ago that pretty much every name was recognizeable to those that follow recruiting. They are a 2nd chance type of place for potential. Thanks for the info. I honestly had never heard of it. My ridicule still stands though from purely a football perspective and specific to Mullins. He supposedly had offers from the actual Bama and Auburn and now ends up at a lesser known HBCU in that same state because he has an attitude problem at Miami. That's really one step above flushing your football life down the drain already.
