Where Did Mullins transfer to?

Last I heard he was headed to Alabama State. Not sure if he’s there or not now since no formal announcement
Wow. That's a serious fall from glory. From High School All-American to The U, only to end up at Alabama State.

I feel for the kid, but this is what happens when diva-like players think that they are bigger than the program.

Why feel bad for him? He had his chances, there were plenty of snaps there for the taking this year. Kid couldn't get his mind right and left, that's his issue.

@Canesfan1899, I didn't say half of what you just quoted me as saying. I am not sure if you did that on purpose or not, but I wanted to point that out.

Many HBCU teams have white players on their teams these days and this is especially true for their soccer and baseball programs.
Baseball especially, had many friends play at FAMU...and also received .minority scholarships.
The program received some bad press but eventually passed.

HBCU..code word .. it’s a racist institution who doesn’t recruit people of other races and follow affirmative action laws

The fact that you ignore the historic significance of these institutions and why they were started screams racist or ignorant. (My bet is somewhere in between)
They are “Historically” black as in the past, a past when it was either go there as a black student or go nowhere. Not Bama, Not Miami not anywhere. And the first to go had to be escorted by the national guard. So yeah it’s pretty significant in black and American history as the hbcu title states. Not some code word or institution trying to hold whitey down. Smh

It's an HBCU with a great history and fan support. Founded in 1867. http://alabama.stateuniversity.com/

Thanks for the info. I honestly had never heard of it. My ridicule still stands though from purely a football perspective and specific to Mullins. He supposedly had offers from the actual Bama and Auburn and now ends up at a lesser known HBCU in that same state because he has an attitude problem at Miami. That's really one step above flushing your football life down the drain already.

IIRC Alabama State had a team a couple of years ago that pretty much every name was recognizeable to those that follow recruiting. They are a 2nd chance type of place for potential.
