When you guys watched Mendoza, did you really think "Oh, yeah, this guy should be the #1 overall pick in the draft!!!!"

QB draft class is really weak which makes me really question Moores decision to go back to Oregon. Not that he is ready but he would have been a higher draft pick this year compared to next year.

Let someone take him 1st he ain't it
 
They run so much RPO, nobody is going to look like an NFL QB running it. It’s such a simple system. You’re making one read, handing it off or pulling it based on that read.

But that’s a credit to IU. Their offense isn’t QB driven.

And I think they do that more to protect others. He’s capable of more.

I’ve been the high man on him since high school, and he’s still a million times better than I thought. Running over Wes was unfortunately the play of the game.
 
He proved me wrong and beat us even if he looked like **** doing it. Congrats to him and I can’t believe how tough he is.


But he has Dolphin draft bust written all over him.

I didnt see much from Mendoza that makes me think he this great #1 pick franchise QB

Hes not Burrow
He's not Luck
Hes not Josh Allen ( not #1)

Hes not close to those guys

Hes smart, big, but a glorifed game manager in the NFL.

I also dont think his schtick works in the NFL. Hes basically this generations Tebow and that choir boy stuff doesnt win a locker room

I also think while its genuine it has now become an act for his marketing purposes.

He's also objectively intelligent but lets be real, he's never now ging to use that real world intelligence as he's set himself up now much like Tebow did to have a life that revolves around football whetehr it works out or not
