When you guys watched Mendoza, did you really think "Oh, yeah, this guy should be the #1 overall pick in the draft!!!!"

No, just like all year his receivers make those contested catches every game, he just has to to throw the ball close. How the **** he wasn’t tackled on his td run is beyond me, that ****ed me off the most.
Those two catches by Becker or whoever the **** it was… was just incredible grabs. Legit throw it short and try and wedge it in

Not at all and noticed it a lot throughout the game. Very smart, tough QB and no digs at him due to the result of the game but just seemed like it was a perfect college scheme and team for him. Has heart and is very tough but that doesn’t just equal stud in the NFL. Didn’t rlly impressive me with his skill but rather his traits. Congrats to him on all his success

I hope his whole family has to deal with all their milk being spoiled. I hope he stubs his toe every morning he wakes up. I hope his nieces and nephews leave legos all over the floor and he repeatedly steps on them.

**** the golden boy

Of course not, I've said it once and I'll say it again: He's going to get an NFL GM FIRED. You can't spam back shoulder fades in the big leagues. You can't rely on RPOs in the NFL, and if you lack the arm talent to stretch the field vertically, it's an issue. Mendoza is the perfect example of "We need a QB, we have to take someone, he sounds like the kind of guy that should be the guy, take him".

College QB play is a farce, there's no way that 10-15 years ago, a guy like Mendoza even sniffs the first round. The proliferation of these spammy offenses, thanks to a rules environment that makes them possible, creates QBs that have absolutely no ability to do anything that the NFL requires.

From a talent perspective no I don't see #1 but he's shown that if you can put a system around him he can be good.

Honestly it sucks we lost becuase that is the most overhyped team I’ve ever seen.

That team does not hold a candle to great teams of the past and would get boat raced.

Specially Mendoza he’s not good. They run RPo and throw up back shoulder prayers.

Most players yard per game down at the next level from previous.

They are drafting a kid that really isn’t good at dropping back and reading the field. Has virtually no escapability and an average arm.
