When will Bain Be Back???

This. These posts are beyond stupid.

Call me stupid all you want, but players rush back from soft tissue injuries all the time and re-injure them, even though they're cleared. The kid is a football player and when he's cleared, he's going to play. I get that part. I just wish they'd convince him to give it one more week once he thinks he can play to be safe. Again, point and laugh all you want, but we don't need him to win tonight. If I had to choose, I'd much rather have him against Louisville, against possibly Clemson, against a possible playoff team than him pushing it tonight and popping it again.

Patience, young grasshopper. If we have our way, we'll have 11 more games after tonight. If he's been practicing at complete full-speed all week and isn't even thinking about the injury, let him loose. If he's been limited in the least bit, get him ready for next week. I ain't worried about him having to wreck VT. The other kids can handle that.

Sucks that he's already had to miss a third of the season. Not the first time we as fans have gotten short changed with one of our stars. Greg Rousseau literally only got to play 1 season at Miami over 3 years due to injury and then deciding not play with the covid season...bain is a beast and he's going to elevate the DL tremendously when he does return. Hoping it's soon

Soft tissue injury ruined my entire junior year because I kept rushing back. There’s no need to be impatient with Bain. Get him right and have him for the second half of the schedule.

Agreed. I want nothing more than to see him and Baron destroy QBs but it’s better to get him back full go. To @OrangeBowlMagic ‘s point, no need to rush him back on a pitch count and see him hobble off the field.

We’ll see though. We saw Fletcher soon than most thought.

One zillion percent. We play Louisville in 22 days. Whatever you have to do to have him 100.0% for that game. That should be the goal. If he’s absolutely perfect now and has been going full blast with zero limitations for a week or so, go wreck shop tonight. If not, we got fish to fry in 3 weeks. And they’re bigger than the one in the skillet tonight.

Wasn’t Greg already in the league when Phillips got here?
Nope, Phillips was healing up and getting stronger on a redshirt year while Rousseau balled out. The next year was COVID where he sat out and Phillips balled out.

They were both drafted in 2021 in the 1st round
