This is why my preferred timeline would be to fire both Blake and Manny now. Get a new AD in here asap and allow that person to have the benefit of at least a bigger sample size of this season's results but still a head start on schools that only can their coaches after their last regular season game.

Agree with firing Blake and manny now and starting the coach search ASAP.

Hire an AD in the next 2 months and let them assist in the selection of the head coach come December, January, or February

I actually don’t mind Mario if he could find the right coordinators. I like the idea of someone like fickell and freeze, knowing very little about their contracts or anything. I wouldn’t be 100% opposed to a top end coordinator in CFB or somewhere in the pros either although we would have to expect some losing with it. I don’t believe we have the attraction we once did. With a real AD and department that could change though. You?
