When is the last time a miami team outcoached the opponent?

We didn't outcoach those teams. Oklahoma went 7-5 I believe and didn't have their star QB. GT was way less talented. I may give you VT 05 because that was a defensive masterpiece.

GT went 10-2 during the regular season and won the conference. Where did you get they were "way less talented"? VT 08 was conference champions in 08 and orange bowl champions that same year. Oky was without Sam Bradford but they had everyone on defense and Landry at qb who is the all time td leader in OK history. Those teams in 08 and 09 get a lot more credit than you give them. The ACC wasn't always this putrid. VT and GT back then was better than anything in the coastal that we see now.

The coastal was actually very solid, just not elite for a few years there. GT and VT were looking good regularly. UNC was looking like they were going to be become something under Butch. Then there was us, who if we ever met our potential could have made 4 solid teams in the Coastal alone with FSU and Clemson in the Atlantic. Even BC was pretty respectable.

Yea you're right damarius Thomas sucks...so does Morgan Burnett. 2009 gt was prolly there most talented team in decades but yea you're right ghey had no talent.

I may not agree with the ou comment but they also had talent. Nether didn't have their star qb but the guy who replaced him went on yo become ou's all time leading passer. They also had Gerald McCoy, Trent Williams , Demario Murray and serval other NFL players so that coaching performance was still better than anything golden has ever done. some of you closet golden fans crack me up.

I know we lost the game by a lot, but one of the best coached games I can remember over the past decade was the 2008 Gators game. The defensive scheme that Bill Young put together that day was just awesome.

The score was indicative of some of the worst officiating I've ever seen over a full game. The score was 7-5 thru three quarters, then the refs ****ed us.

The fact that this game came to mind... Shows how pathetic our scheme has been.
