What's the College Football fan split where you reside?

Hamilton County, TN (Chattanooga). According to that New York Times article a couple of years ago, my zip code was:

77% Tennesseei
15% Alabama
6% Georgia
2% Other

I'd say the city is similar. A lot of Bammers around. Now, we're 10 miles from the GA border, and it's 95% UGA once you cross the line, and probably 4% Bama and 1% other. In the county, it's probably higher TN and lower others.

I live in East TN. I'd say the ratio is near that, but more 85% Vol, 10% Bama and the last 5% swap UGA for UF. Decent amount of Canes too. They also have these things called VolCats, which are UT football fans and UK basketball fans.

I've never heard of the VolCat in JC, but I see a ton of UT football, Duke/UNC basketball fans. NFL used to be who Peyton played for, now that the Broncos are good they chose to remain a Broncos fan. It'll change when they lose a few games, they'll say it was only because Peyton. Then fill in the blank who is the best team in the league

It's pretty much all Cal, Stanford, and USC.
But mostly it's Raiders and 49ers. Not as many people rep College teams in the bay area as they do in the south.

I would say that the Bama ratio is much higher, probably UGA a little higher too. I mean Chattanooga is the biggest city in the area so you get several people from both GA and AL working, traveling, etc too so I guess its just a matter of talking about ONLY people who live in a certain zip code or just the surrounding area in general. We are very much UT, UGA, Bama exclusive...but I have noticed several Canes in the area. I see the occasional Gator, Nole, and Irish fan as well.

In metro Atlanta. I see more people with Miami car tags and gear on than any other school outside of uga

where do you live, College Park?

I live in Metro Atlanta and I see UGA, Alabama and Auburn. Miami is 5th with the 4th being GT.

I live in Orlando, they don't sell canes gear at 90% of the places that sell college football apparel.

Impossible to guess the % with all the tourist that come through here in SEC gear. Only FL schools

Gators 30%
UCF 20%
FSU 20%
Canes 20%

this math hurts my head

I'm in Orlando too

I'd say honestly
40% UCF
30% Gators
20% FSU
10% USF/Miami/Alabama(yeah idk but I see it in the malls, guess winning does that)

Lol!! I don't know where exactly you live in Orlando but you're crazy if you think there aremore UCF fans than Gaytors. I graduated from UCF and half of their students wlk ar8 with gaytor gear on. All the local sports radio hosts are gaytor grads and all the dporys newspaper editors aretoo.

In Atlanta. I've seen it all really. Mostly SEC and ACC. And I've probably seen nearly every school represented in those two conferences with a smattering of BIG 10 and BIG 12.

Southeast GA:
UGA 70%
ALA 10%
FSU 5%
AUB 5%
UF 5%
GT 2%
CLEM 2%
USCe 1%

I'm surrounded by morons, lol.

Car Tags? There is no State of Georgia University of Miami license plate/tag...My Son, Daughter in Law and other Atlanta UM Alums have worked it and worked it but you need like a 1,000 prepaid plates. Michigan State recently pulled it off in Georgia (?!?!) but Miami has not.

Tri-Cities, TN

70% UT
10% VT
10% bandwagon/most recent National Champion
10% Random mix

I feel like after UT, VT, and Duke that I see Bama, FSU, and Miami a lot, then no other schools appear significantly, but it seems like I get a comment on my U plate or clothes every time I go somewhere.

He probably mean the vanity plates, that u buy in campus bookstores, fan shops, or from AllCanes that's usually seen on the front of vehicles. As of now, we don't have the UM license plates.

Sacramento, ca

Since USC aint winning i dont see there **** as much as it was when i first got out here in 05. Cali folks are the most bandwagon, fair-weather ******* fans i ever known. Even when i venture to the bay, i hardly see cal or Stanford fans.

I live in the barren pasty wasteland, Utah.

40% Putahs

50% YBU(sic)

9.9999999% Utah State

.0000001 % Me and one other guy I saw once driving down the freeway with a huge :neonu: on the back window of his truck. (Of course I broke the law to catch up with him and throw it up!)

I see:
95% Notre Lame

1% local small colleges nobody outside of my area has ever heard of

In metro Atlanta. I see more people with Miami car tags and gear on than any other school outside of uga

This.....all the smart intellectual successful types are miami fans.. the rest are stupid uneducated, easily manipulated, group thinking, SEC d!k stacker's

Southern Ohio. Mostly Ohio State/Marshall with some WVU sprinkled in. Not including myself, I know a handful of Canes fans up here too.
