I understand the sentiment. You want Golden gone -so do I .But publicly humiliating a coach isn't going to make him go away sooner. It will not make the administration let him go quicker. But what do you think any coach considering coming to Miami thinks when the fans unlike any other school in the country so publicly try to embarrass their team and their head coach. Its very possible we could have a smaller list of interested coaches because of this. But some people act without thinking. If you got fired from your job would you want someone flying a banner over town proclaiming it?

The only purpose of the banners is for fans to vent their frustrations and embarrass Golden and the admin, and for the fans to get their message on TV. It's an immature act, akin to a boyfriend sending out nude pics of his girlfriend after a breakup, or a kid posting angry messages on Twitter to get back at a an enemy at school.

The banner flyers ignore all the bad publicity it brings, all the jokes from the press, all the bad blood it breeds in the players. Because hey, at least they're venting their frustrations!

The AD and BOT and former prez have not acted on this. Meanwhile other teams ( in similar circumstances) have successfully!
