What is your favorite Cane thing that is personal recollection not common.

One of my BFF's worked at a beer stand in the OB and I rarely paid for beer inside when I was finally able to drink.

2002 vs FSU was a gigantic bleepshow of debauchery.

Edgar Michelangeli. His bomb against NC State to get the lead back in the top of the 9th, in Durham and showing up Chance Sheppard (the kid who hit a bomb and pimped it for State the half inning before that).

And his grand slam to send us to the CWS against BC two weeks later, that led to the scuffle. That bat flip was WAY over done and I loved every second of it.

At the Micron PC Bowl at Joe Robbie watching Edgerrin James run over a bunch of NC State defenders and Scott Covington walking off the field for the final time in victory and pointing at the crowd.

1st down: Hendricks sacks Spurrier for a 7 yard loss.
2nd down: Hendricks breaks through, but Spurrier sees him coming and throws it off Hendricks' knee.
3rd down: Spurrier completes a short pass bringing up 4th and 10.
4th down: Spurrier throws an incomplete pass and Canes win.

It was a pleasant trip back to campus.

Spurrier is named the Heisman Award winner a couple weeks later.
