What is your expectations for the Alabama Game?

Right now we're two weeks away from the Bama, the roster is pretty much set and I doubt we have anymore transfers coming. What are your realistic expectations for the Game?

IF Miami OL holds up AND O can sustain drives, Bama scores 30/40-ish...Miami scores teen/20-ish.

IF Miami OL crumbles AND/OR O can't sustain drives, Bama scores 50/60-ish...Miami scores teens.

In recent history, we’ve had a few big openers vs LSU and Florida. Although we lost both for different reasons, for the most part the team showed up to play. I expect them to show up.

one of my former teammates played for Lashlee at UConn, said he’s one of the best play callers in the game without a question (also said he’s never heard anyone say a bad thing about him) . I expect lashlee to come out guns blazin lol
 
I expect the talent gap to be significant, the coaching gap to be larger, but the resource gap to be insurmountable.

They'll have analysts scouting out everything to a 't' and doing their best to steal signs, especially when they are on offense and we are in defense (since our warp-speed offense can limit it a bit.)

In the end, it will be a kick in the nuts and set the program back, show how far we are from being on the level of a team with no limits on resources. Only an idiot like Beta Blake James would schedule Alabaga on a neutral field, as there's no upside to it besides a paycheck.
 
For the people expecting to lose, I scratch my head. If the mindset is expect to lose you WILL lose.
For the fans expecting to win it is the ingredient to pulling off the upset. You have to expect to win to have a chance.
Alabama and teams like them have been upset before and they can be beat when we play them in the opener. It starts with expecting to win.

Prediction................I'd say we lose by 17. I think we'll start out playing inspired but a few dumb penalties and an eventual turnover does us in.

If we do come out playing inspired, we're already way ahead of where we were in our last few "big" games.

This has got to stop.
 
every preseason we get caught up in the hype. Alabama is still the king of the hill.the best time to get them is right out of the gate in a rebuilding year. I’m tired of watching us beat ourselves. I expect the absolute best effort this team is capable of. I expect a great game plan with execution and cunning coaching to go with it. Do I expect to win, no I don’t. A victory would be monumental in the resurrection of the program that we have been hearing about for way too long. Doing it on the field puts us right back. Realistically win or lose I expect an effort we haven’t experienced in a long time. Smash mouth football leaving it all on the field. Manny better have this team competitively and mentally prepared. his performance is as important as the players or we could be in for an embarrassment.
