What is the ******* ACC network doing?????

Man that’s one of the worse things. The games don’t even be entertaining. You have to catch very specific moments to see big plays made by this team.

I started checking out other games highlights on YouTube every week and Miami always got some of the shortest videos
It's still better than Emily In Paris, but not by much.

This is why you are a terrible mopey porster. Because you never let facts, logic, or reality get in the way of your vague generalizations about how we are not "decent to good" or "compelling".

This week there are ONLY FOUR ACC GAMES BEING TELECAST ON SATURDAY. One of those is on ABC (Syracuse-Clemson). That leaves THREE conference games, all of which could be telecast on the ACC Network. Particularly since the 12:30 time slot on ACCN is open.

Last week, there were ONLY FOUR ACC GAMES BEING TELECAST ON SATURDAY. Same situation, and as someone has already pointed out, the ACC Network ran a repeat documentary instead of, you know, A LIVE FOOTBALL GAME.

Again, the purpose of the ACC Network is to broadcast ACC games, to get more people in the United States to watch ACC games. AND THEY ARE NOT FULFILLING THAT MISSION, some of which is likely due to the legacy issues involving the regional sports network that our former commissioner's kid worked for.

So stop being a d!ckhead Miami moper and telling us how our games are not being televised because "we suck". For two weeks, THERE HAVE ONLY BEEN FOUR TOTAL ACC GAMES ON SATURDAY, with at least one going to a national broadcast channel. There has been absolutely NOTHING to interfere with putting three games on ACCN. Nothing having to do with "bad teams" and "non-compelling matchups".

It's time for you to quit using generalized Miami mopery to justify the terrible decisions (and/or contracts) of the ACC Network.

Oh boy, that's a lot of time wasted on your part as you try and think, what tired and cliche name can I call someone next.

Television is about viewers and money. In their eyes, we weren't the money draw in that time slot. People's jobs who depend upon putting content that will draw viewers to their paying advertisers are on the line every second anything is on. Advertisers want to know when their product will air and what will be playing around it.

So you can cry up a river about whatever fantasy you want to create, but that's how television and its revenue works at a very base level. We weren't the money draw and that's dead *** apparent to anyone who doesn't live in fantasy land.

This week, the larger draw is Wake and BC. Coincidentally one is a top 25 team, shocker. Meanwhile two mediocre teams will battle it out in near obscurity.

The ACC Network's purpose is to make money. It doesn't necessarily mean that always involves showing games. It's to put what they think will draw the most eyes and in turn that translates to money for all schools through advertising and subscriptions.

There's nothing mopey or whatever you want to cry about next, that's just the hard cold truth. Have fun typing your next fantasy riddled woe is me post.

All of you guys saying it isn’t airing because we suck are missing one valid point. It’s because we suck, that a game against Duke actually is an interesting watch to the rest of the country.

You're not serious with that are you?

Once the Raycom/RSN contract ends (provided the new ACC leadership doesn't renew), those games will be shown on the ACC Network. If it wasn't us on those RSN games it would be another ACC matchup. The deal runs through 2026-27.

The RSN games are last in the selection order. For three straight weeks we will be relegated to RSN status because (1) contractual obligations to Raycom/RSN, and (2) The ACC Network chose other games for their time slots over our games.

Incidentally, earlier this year ESPN bought out the Raycom broadcast rights for baseball and women's basketball ACC Tourney games to put them all on the ACC Network going forward.

hes gonna go on about ACC contracts while he may be right completely ignore that we didnt get picked for the better timeslots/networks when ESPN and ACCN had their choice. RSN is literally the last spot. we are being told no one wants to watch us over other teams. those thinking we still draw eyeballs are living int he past. the current canes do not.

You are ignoring the obvious, because it doesn't suit your agenda.

There are problems with the ACC Network and our contracts. Time slots are available on ACCN and ACCN is not using those timeslots.

That's a problem, but the problem is not "relegation".

aTm hasn't won a national championship since the 1930s, they had a bad G5 loss the week before playing Miami, they are now 3-3 (1-2 SEC), and yet...

---they had their second or third largest crowd OF ALL TIME for the Miami game
---people still watch their games live and on TV
and
---the SEC isn't pushing multiple aTm CONFERENCE games onto Bally

This isn't about "oh, our games suck", this is about problems with the conference, the network, and the decisions that are made by others.

There are plenty of daytime timeslots and plenty of times in the middle of the night to air reruns of Clemson documentaries.
a lot of words putting blame everywhere else rather than the boring product that has been Miami football. its not even moping. we literally aren't even exciting even when we win or lose. if there was an excitement factor to us, wed be on a real network at least against UVA or even against VT (which drew a sell out for homecoming).

thank you. hes arguing contracts and other **** but completely ignoring that we were not picked up by ESPN networks or ACCN.

The contract is worse than I thought. The ACC didn't sell those rights to Raycom, ESPN owns the rights and agreed to sell them to Raycom for less than what they are worth as a sweetener for the ACC TV contract renewal in 2010. It was extended when Pitt and Syracuse joined the conference, but not further extended when the ACC Network deal and contract extension to 2036 was announced.

But still, despite the contract, for 3 weeks in a row our game will be last in the pecking order. I doubt Miami-FSU will make it to the ACC Network based on the other matchups that week and the history of that rivalry, but if it does, we only have ourselves to blame.

idk if y’all noticed but if you aren’t a fan of this team they are incredibly boring to watch. Especially if the team is playing at home every game is like a COVID game with zero crowd.
Another fan who doesn't actually watch or go to the games. Just went to the UNC game. Stadium was packed and the crowd was screaming the entire game. Great atmosphere.

Terrible ACC network, we are a mediocre football team with no players worth a watch if you're not a Cane fan, and half-empty stadium with terrible football atmosphere to boot....all of these are compelling reasons why we are not on the radar of the major viewing schedule of college football games.

"stadium packed" lmao you guys are so full of ****. Your inability to see beyond your favorite team is hilarious. If you go to the game that's great for you. Keep going and supporting the team. But don't cry when the team isn't on TV & people make fun of the lack of home field advantage. Team sucks, fans especially suck, even the players acknowledge that.
