What is personally your most satisfying regular season win and your most devastating regular season loss all time as a Miami Hurricanes football fan?

Win: 2003 Florida. Devin H's TD, the comebcack, the smug gator fans. It was perfect. 1994 FSU is an honorable mention, but is kind of a "stand alone" game in retrospect.

Loss: Tie between 2005 GT and 1993 West Virginia. These were just so costly that both just hurt me to my core even today. We would have played in a better bowl game both years, won our conference, and have had a shot at bigger things. Devastating.

Most Satisfying: Duke lateral game. I was so heated with the penalties and late duke score, I didn’t want to stay for the kick return. Cooler heads prevailed. I left that game exhausted.

Least Satisfying: blowout loss to nd in cold *** soldier field. Dorsett dropped a wide open sure TD on the first possession and it was over from there. I was with my wife and 5 friends, we stay till late in the 4th - we’re miserable, cold, i’m trying to be ****ed and look after her, and it takes 45 minutes to get out of there while we’re surrounded by nd ********.

Top W... that W vs Notre Dame in 2017 felt really good.

Worst L for sure was UNC 2021... the sheer and utter helplessness, me watching that defense getting absolutely shredded and getting text messages going "What in the **** are y'all doing?"... I was miserable for the whole week.

Win: 2017 vs ND
Loss: 2022 v UNC (cos I was in attendance and that was ******* miserable)
This is close to mine, except it's the 2020 UNC loss when they ran for about 1 million yards. That left me sick for a while.

Even after a lot of beats and heartbreaks, that Virginia beatdown in the OB finale sticks out.

F$U 2002 was out of this world euphoria.

For some reason the OT loss to Clemson in 2009 stung the most. I don't know why. I just remember feeling really ticked off after that one.

Win: 2001 Against UW...it was a redemption and payback game. The OB was literally bananas. Our only loss in 2000, and BCS computers screwed us out of NC. ...even though we beat f$u. (You absolutely can not do this today) but people had stuffed animal dogs on a noose on sticks...**** was wild. UW walked I'm to a hornets nest before the game even started. We whooped their ***, and didn't let up.

Loss.... Last Game at OB. Radio had no clue how to cover TE screens over the middle. In Fact UVA just scored another TD. What an Embarrassment that was.

Win: Notre Dame 2017, felt like we were really on our way back.

Loss: Virginia 2007, last game in the OB and we got dominated 48-0. Sad day.

L, 13-66 versus Syracuse

Thats ok though because next week

W, 49-45 versus UCLA. Their program hasnt been right since.

You knew if the game was at the orange bowl, there was no way they would lose. The next time we played Washington in the orange bowl we blew them out and I wanna say that was the last time we ever faced them. The Washington AD wasn't happy about the blowout
Played them again in 2000 which was our last loss before we went on a 34 game tear. Then the OSU fiasco ended the run.

Just read the last few pages and haven't seen the '86 Oklahoma game mentioned. The 'ain't afraid of you bit**' coin toss with Zo and Jerome Brown as captains. Vinny"s scramble play that put him out front for the Heisman he'd eventually win. Played at the height of 'the Boz' (Brian Bosworth) phenomena. Beating Oklahoma soundly for the second year in a row, punctuated by some fisticuffs in the 4th quarter. Crowd was rowdy that day (moreso than usual) and frankly was a little too drunk to remember much more. The JJ years were a GREAT time to be a Hurricane!

Low point: several obvious ones, but having a championship stolen was the most helpless feeling. Losing the '87 Fiesta Bowl to end '86 season the most disappointing.
