What is personally your most satisfying regular season win and your most devastating regular season loss all time as a Miami Hurricanes football fan?

Too many to choose from, but…

Loss: 1988 Notre Lame.
The blatant cheating by the officiating crew (Cleveland crossed the plane) cost Miami a THREE-PEAT. Think about how big that is. The loss was bad enough, but then you factor that in…

Win: ‘89 Notre Lame (see above), 2000 FSU (“We back”), 2017 Notre Lame (“See kids, this is what it used to be like”).

ND was amazing in 17… was at a random bar in Austin watching the game surrounded by ND fans. Epic tears live…

Toughest loss…. Idk goldens beat down that was the dagger was tough to get through. FIU was flat out embarrassing.,..

As a younger guy being a a fan during the dark days

Best win: ND 2017 easy

Worst loss: funny one duke 2012, Miami would’ve won the coastal with this win and my whole life I just wanted to see Miami win anything. This game would’ve meant nothing in reality but to me it was like the Super Bowl

Win: 65-7 over Washington in 2001. That game epitomized our best team ever.

Loss: 2003 Fiesta Bowl. Not only were we cheated out of a national championship, but that game was the dagger in the heart of our new dynasty.

Win: 1983 First Championship vs Nebraska when most people didn't think we could win.

Loss: 1993 Sugar Bowl Vs Alabama when most people didn't think we could lose.

Played them again in 2000 which was our last loss before we went on a 34 game tear. Then the OSU fiasco ended the run.

Miami beat Washington in 2001 65-7 during that run. Thats the game the Washington AD was like F Miami we are never facing them again lol. Great times

Yep. I was there. Those games in 2001/2002 at the orangebowl are etched in my brain. 03 was fun too until Tennessee where Berlin reverted. Loved that guy but he was jeckell and hyde.

I never saw the level of sheer Insanity "For an entire game" than I witnessed at the 89 UM vs ND game. The craziest I've ever seen the OB... and that's 200+ UM games and 100+ Dolphin games since 1976. Complete and utterly hysteria.

The thread is about Regular season games.
But I agree with that Sugar Bowl for Bowl Games. Never felt more devastated after a loss than that one.
Even the Fiesta was not as bad for me.

I was at
Both
65-7….flew in from CA w my now wife….WEZ seats….by far loudest stadium that night that I had ever been in.

Fiesta bowl was total bullshyt w fireworks going off only to see Porter be flag five seconds later
Mcgahee injury was gruesome as well and the OSU fans were total asshats when we were leaving

ND 2017

3 way Tie @KST golden era, @ND golden era, and vs LSU 2018. I traveled for KSt and LSU and I refuse to travel again til we in the ACCCG/playoff.

Win:

2000 FSU for a win and it’s not even close. Especially for those of us that became fans during the probation era, so didn’t see the good times.

Loss:

Maybe the Washington game that same year? 2000 felt like the comeback season going into the season. The first time some of us were going to see a Miami team we only saw on ESPN Classics. And then the second game of the year it was gone. Just an insane gut punch.

My real question for you is what is the best concert you turned down because of a canes game? There had to have been a point where those two interests intersected, and I can’t imagine you picking a concert over the canes…

That I honestly can't answer
