What happened to Larry Blustein? (UPDATE: In hospital with COVID)

Why did it stop?
Back then signing day meant something because the internet and the kids didn’t let on where everyone was going. Now we pretty much know who is going where days before signing day. What was better than that was our monthly pizza night. That’s where 15-20 of us would get together at Anthony’s Pizza and talk canes football for hours. It’s where I meet Spike UM, xballer 52, even Jen (who went to the stop club with us). The famous (infamous) chef used to be at every pizza night.

Heard he's not doing real well right now.
Not looking good apparently. Really hope he pulls though.
Same. That it was looking better (relatively speaking) and that it took a bad turn for the worse again. Dude's a fighter so hopefully this is a only just another setback on the actual road to recovery.

Back in the old Grassy days a bunch of us used to get together on National signing day at a restaurant or bar with wifi and sit on our computers waiting for the next commit. We would spend the day drinking and talking about the canes, and on more than one occasion Blu hung out with us for hours telling us all kinds of stories. The day usually ended at a strip club, Blu right along side all of us.
Why did it stop?

Guessing a few wives and GF's found out about the strip club nightcap and **** if the whole thing didn't get shut down 🤫

Can't imagine too many things in life more rewarding than helping others by doing what you love to do.

Hope all the kind words said about him help carry Mr. Bluestein through these tough times
