Thanks, friend. He was 78 and survived 2 organ transplant over the last 25 years. More than cheated death already.

Hate to hear it, but hope he lived a happy and eventfull 78 years. Life goes by so fast, got to enjoy every minute of it.

People debate his current professional relevancy but I personally have never met anyone that had a bad word to say about Blu the person and that's all that really matters in the end. Godspeed.

Hopefully Blu recovers. I met him back in 2006 when I worked for Florida Panthers, we had a draft event at the sports bar that used to be at HardRock Casino area. Didn’t recognize him at first and was at the bar we started chatting and the. I clicked it was Blu, we talked recruiting for at least 3 hours, such a good and passionate guy.

We lost my old man to Covid in November. Can’t stress enough how terrible it is when it gets to that point. Take care of yourselves, ladies and gents.

We would spend the day drinking and talking about the canes, and on more than one occasion Blu hung out with us for hours telling us all kinds of stories. I can tell you he will absolutely receive the antibodies though based on his age and previous health issues which included an organ transplant.
