Ya, brother, I really thought we were ****ed when Bama lost. Didn’t expect the committee to be so biased that they wouldn’t drop them a single spot. But I’ll take it!

I wasn’t even planning to watch the show, as my wife dragged me to play pickleball with some friends while it was on, knowing I needed to be distracted in some way, shape, or form.

After two games, we took a break. She asked me if I wanted to go check and I said yes. At that point, Bama was revealed as the #9 team. I looked at her and said, “oh my god, we’re right next to ND….they might let us in!”

The rest is history. When I saw our graphic…. I erupted, yelling and screaming joyfully so loud that the entire facility looked over at me. Not a great look…but who gives a ****? Even my wife was so happy for me, and she normally doesn’t care. She only roots for UM because she knows how much it means to me.

Happiest I’ve been as a Canes fan since I was 6 years old and watched us win the national championship. Just a surreal feeling.
