What an incredible day

This is the first team in the last 23 seasons of me being a fan that I feel can go toe to toe with any team. The athletes we have the size the speed. We have good NFL talent on this roster that I have not seen in my cane fan lifetime. I’m extremely excited to go see a postseason game (especially Ohio State I want them bad).

It’s the lines. A lot of us have said it since the spring. It’s almost impossible to be bad when you’re this good on the offensive and defensive lines.

I feel like Justin Scott has really turned a corner the 2nd half of season. Moten has legit NFL talent. And now we get Blay back. OJ should be back. Wes was banged up late in the year, he should be fully healthy by the time we play. Thomas obviously had his bruises. If we can get Keionte Scott back and 100%, I expect this defense to give us a chance to win against ANYBODY.

Well said as usual OP. Been walking on a cloud today. We've all been putting up the good fight among ourselves; for the past few weeks. And to your point, thinking about watching half this team in a bowl game was so unsettling especially as well as they played during that last game. They look like they're gelling well, I wanted it badly for them. Glad they get another shot here. 10-2 in back to back seasons is huge, but this, wow, hard to put into words.

Go Canes. and as fans, we deserve this **** lol

A lot of us were in the trenches for weeks, fighting the good fight.

After the last two decades, we deserved this.

Love y’all! Go Canes!
100% I wanna thank @DMoney and Mike Ryan. I also wanna point out who wasn’t in those trenches fighting for us and that was, you guessed it @Peter Ariz smh clearly that dude thinks he’s too cool for the trenches, stick to basketball sport. I think we got football pretty much covered here.

Absolutely agree the interior is on a tear these last few weeks Moten and Scott have been fantastic. Blount has been a grit guy not too many splash plays. Getting Blay back. Mesidor and Bain are the two best edge defenders in college can’t wait to see them perform.

We have size outside the Corners being able to knock back TEs like Lucas did against Pitt on the 4th down play. I think we match up well with Jeremiah Smith outside to be able to get him on the ground and not kill us in YAC. Especially with Jakobe Thomas coming downhill and Poyser is a very good tackler in space.

Well Jeremiah Smith plays for Ohio State and we have to beat Texas A&M first. But we can play with anyone in America. I firmly believe that. Who knows how this thing is gonna go but I’m just thrilled we’re gonna get a chance to shoot our shot. This team, as good as it is, not being able to show it in the playoffs would’ve been criminal.

I’m just so **** happy, man.

Happy for Mario. Say what you want about the guy, but he is the definition of a Miami Hurricane. Look, nobody is bigger than the program. I don’t care if Jesus H Christ was the coach here, it’s win or GTFO. And Mario has done plenty to earn criticism the past few years. But this dude is US. He’s a Miami kid, through and through, and you cannot love nor appreciate all this program is more than him. It’s been a long 20+ years, and we’re not hanging a banner for what we did today, but it’s just so nice to have real, tangible progress and success. This is a big achievement when you think about how absolutely comical this program has been from the top down for a long, long time. Knowing him, he took about 7 seconds to smile and cheer, and he’s back to work. We have work to do. But I’m happy for him.

But even more, I’m happy for us. **** a committee, a ranking, a game control metric…this is one of the best teams in America. End of story. And I was so depressed thinking the Pitt game was going to be the last time we saw these kids play football here. It’s weird…when you have a REALLY good football team, it’s super rare that the last time you get to watch it, they play their best game, but you don’t win anything. Right? It always ends with a championship, or a loss. But we threw Pitt around like ragdolls, all sat and said to ourselves and friends that **** we got a good team…and then that’s it? Just really weird. So I am so excited we get to watch 4 out there again. And 3. And 61. TRUE CANES WHO CAME HERE WHEN WE SUCKED ***. Maybe it’s just for 1 more game. Who knows? But we get to watch these boys go out there again and show what they got. And they absolutely deserve it. This is a **** good football team. It was really good last year. It’s even better this year. Go show the world what we all know.

Just really happy today, boys and girls. Happy for the staff, happy for the kids, and happy for us.

Go Canes.
My wife was in the other room and then I started yelling and she knew it wasn’t the Formula 1 race I was watching on replay because I slept in and missed the live race.

She saw the TV and even she, who’s an alum of LSU and pretty much threw it in my face for the 21 years we’ve been married, understood the moment because she sat with me in the West End Zone at the Orange Bowl early in our marriage when I saw before our eyes the program getting worse and worse.

I put in for tickets so I hope I get them so I can take my son in a few weeks to Texas A&M game.

Happy for us miserable ***** of Cane fans. On my way to do the groceries today (I volunteered to do it on my own this time) I shed a tear of happiness in my 5 minute drive to the Publix for the moment.

We earned this opportunity!!
