we're all full of crap

Whether we go 4-8 or 8-4, it doesn't matter.

Golden is out of here regardless.

So just root for the best, I guess?

I'll watch the games. But I won't be excited for them. I'll actually be hoping we lose every game to expedite Folden's dismissal. So there's nothing exciting or hopeful about that.

And I won't be watching practice clips or any of that **** because that stuff only matters when you have hope for the team. Hope for this team vanished a long time ago.

I'll watch the games.

But it's a different kind of watching than 15 years ago.

Now, I have no hope of success. Just failure.

Yet I watch anyway. Not sure why.

for the first time in years, i feel like i have no interest in the season. we are all saying we are done. Yet tomorrow, we will be watching clips from the first practice and hoping we make a BCS. lmao

I'll watch a game or two, but I'm not buying anything.. I'm just not gonna mope around and make thread after thread like most of the cornballs we have on this site. Corny is corny

I've stopped following recruiting completely. Why? Because it doesn't matter if we land 5*s or coal shovelers they are destined to yield 6-6 results. That's how I know the apathy has really set in.

I'll always support, through the good years and the bad! Hoping this will be a good year...Pulling for this Senior class Bush, Waters, Howard, Scott, Kirby, Isadora, Wyche, McCord, Crawford, Kamalu, Wells, Heurtelou, to leave here as winners.

ah this man knows his pillars

That poster is probably on the University of Miami payroll

Just a fan of the University of Miami.

Nah..an employee. A fan cares about the program and doesn't kiss the *** of the current administration and/or coaching staff and blindly accept what's been going on over the last decade.

So yeah...you're an employee or a "friend of the family"

So people on this board wont watch Miami's games or go to the Miami games but you will get on an internet message board that is 100% dedicated to Miami football --- oh yeah, you also are visiting the board in the off season !!!!!!! You do understand that is like saying you dont love your ex any more but you continue to check her facebook page every day. Oh wait - you are visiting the board bc the BOT is waiting for you latest post and that post will get them to get rid of Al. wow

i'll watch because i can't help myself....

but second straight year i'm not flying down for a game. Refuse to pay for that slop.

Definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results.

I will no way attend a game. I won't bother to watch games against cupcake teams. And for the games I do watch, I'll be as emotionally unattached watching the U play than ever before.

Fck AL Golden. He made our team and culture into a pathetic **** show and I detest him for it. He plays boring football, is a two faced fggot in the media, and should be nowhere near this team. He's a proven failure. There may be some reason at one point to get "mildly excited" - but don't worry, sooner than later he'll get the team right back to being ****.

Not again.

I exchanged my remote for a 1911 in .45ACP two years ago.

Tired of replacing TV's, patching holes, and replacing computers.

All in and cheering for the Canes (not AG) to have a GREAT year; flying out from California to see Nebraska game.

Worst case scenario is mediocrity and the status quo continues. Will cheer for success but hopeful that IF it fails going down big might yield changes....

Can you explain the logic of cheering for the Canes to be successful and not Folden when they go hand in hand? I'm just saying. I don't understand that logic.

I'll watch just like I have since the 1960's when I adopted this as my team. I got bored with them in the early 70's, became a Gator fan for a awhile even, and then pivoted back to the Canes in the Saban era. When Schnellenberger took over, I was sold. Been that way ever since. So **** straight I will watch, and agonize and probably continue the suffering I have done since AG was hired until the very end. I am not a supporter of AG, and although he did the impressive first presser he has proven unfit for the job. We all know that. But it is kind of like when we do the daily commute, and there is an accident and traffic is backed up. When we get to the logjam, we all take a look to see how bad the injuries were that caused our pain. We all look. None of us look away right?

My fan support is the same as the daily commute. I do it because commuting there is what I do to get where I want to be in life. And my love for the Miami Hurricanes football team is a life's journey. So I will watch the Al train wreck because it is part of the journey. Not because I like it but because I can't look away.

I hope and pray we go 15-0 and Al gets offered the PSU job, and to see Jimbo cry.

Golden couldn't go 15-0 if he was given the 2013 Seahawks and his family's lives depended on it. He would still find a way to lose 3 games.

That's only because guys like Richard Sherman and Marshon Lynch are very selfish players who don't buy into a team mentality. Cant blame golden for that.

After 40 years as Cane fan, it becomes the thing you do this time of year. I think all of us WANT the team to win so we keep one eye on it. Add that to the fact that we are frigging ****ed off and have not vented enough.

i was excited last year because the year before we were 9-4 but we lost those 4 games when Duke, Dorsett, and a few others were injured for the year. plus morris was never healthy. Golden legit could have had a 10 win season that year. Last year i just couldnt understand.

nycane: 9-36 against teams with less than 5 wins. Last part of the schedule, the combined opponent winning pct was .670. 2013 was all fun and games b/c the first 7 games came against a FCS opponent and teams with horrendous records on the season. The end of 2013 was a prelude to what was going to happen to 2014. Heck the only wins at end the 2013 season came against a 10 loss UVA team and a 6 loss Pitt team. I didn't get the 6-7 record either until I researched the 2013 schedule. It was all smoke and mirrors, bruh.
