Welp, SI doesnt think we are beating Clemson

Who would think we would beat them after that performance against Pitt. This is the first game all season where I don't see us winning. If we can't run in any given game, we are basically doomed. And I don't see us having much success against Clemson on the ground. It is what it is. I will be highly ****ed if Mark Richt thinks run the same ordinary plays that have been shut down all season will work and we get blown out.

But they have us playing Bama in the Orange Bowl. Talk about a hot ticket!!!!

Capital One Orange Bowl, Miami Gardens, Fla. (Dec. 30, 8 p.m., ESPN)
ACC vs. Big Ten, SEC or Notre Dame
Prediction: Miami vs. Alabama

Any particular reason why we should care what SI thinks?

My thoughts exactly

Isn't it time SI should drop publishing?

EDIT: Except for the swimsuit. One magazine a year. Just keep the photographers and drop all the writers. Don't even make believe you read SI for the articles.

The one constant this team shows is it’s tendancyto play up or down
To the competition. Why should that change now? Could be a big surprise.

Can understand the thinking after the Pitt loss but what's the big deal re Clemson beating SC?? Who has SC beaten of any significance? Canes are going to be in this game until the end. LETS GO CANES! :neonu::neonu::neonu::neonu::neonu:

No one thought we would beat (insert your pick of about 8 or 9 teams) this year too. Don’t care, it’s all about the U and claiming what’s ours Sat night.

No one other than Miami will think we win Saturday..... **** em

Just like the ND game. Biggest game since the last NC game but this sort of stuff takes all the pressure off and pours gas on the fires inside the team. Need the lines to play large and mean and our big time players to make big time plays.

Getting to play Bama with a crowd like we had for ND would be a great consolation prize but I want the playoffs. Still, beating bama would send clear message to college football that the Miami boys are back and coming for them.

Also, I see UCF v osu in peach. That is big stage for them to show they belong. If they win it is bad news for us recruiting in central FL.

Let’s beat Clemson and go for all the marbles. If not, kick bama rear in front of recruits and end their dominance.

Have some faith in this staff Supa! I think that somehow, we win this game with plays that we have not seen yet. Clemson will force their hand to do it early.

I feel you but that Pitt loss was so demoralizing. The way we lost.

This is the same team that could easily be 11-0, if Rosier had just hit 2-3 more throws. That's it. He overthrew at least three long gains or TD's, and it would still be the same team. The loss took away the chance Miami could make it to the playoffs as a 1-loss team. Clemson is still Clemson. They were always going to be the hardest game.

So after the Pitt game a major sports publication doesn't think Miami will beat Clemson in the ACCCG.
Meanwhile in other news the sun rose in the east today
