Welp, SI doesnt think we are beating Clemson

But they have us playing Bama in the Orange Bowl. Talk about a hot ticket!!!!

Capital One Orange Bowl, Miami Gardens, Fla. (Dec. 30, 8 p.m., ESPN)
ACC vs. Big Ten, SEC or Notre Dame
Prediction: Miami vs. Alabama

Any particular reason why we should care what SI thinks?

My thoughts exactly

Isn't it time SI should drop publishing?

EDIT: Except for the swimsuit. One magazine a year. Just keep the photographers and drop all the writers. Don't even make believe you read SI for the articles.

Even the Swimsuit Edition is getting all body positivity (i.e. fat girls).

how much i care about what SI thinks can be measured by the size of the corn in my crap ....

that being said, they aren't wrong, and neither is anyone else. i'm as loyal a 'canes fan as anyone, but at this point. my best case scenario is that we don't get embarrassed by clemson

I just hope and pray Rosier doesn't get hurt in the game. We need him to be sharp and we need Deejay in the wildcat often. We shoul;d use the wildcat to help the run game to open up the passing game. Hopefully Malik's shoulder is 100% and they have him throwing footballs through tires all week.

Getting to play Bama with a crowd like we had for ND would be a great consolation prize but I want the playoffs. Still, beating bama would send clear message to college football that the Miami boys are back and coming for them.

Also, I see UCF v osu in peach. That is big stage for them to show they belong. If they win it is bad news for us recruiting in central FL.

Let’s beat Clemson and go for all the marbles. If not, kick bama rear in front of recruits and end their dominance.

Central Florida is more of a UF and some FSU region. Frost staying at UCF and making them compete against the big boys will have them eating UFs lunch and keep them down for a long time.

I have my tix and I'll be there, but not real confident at this point. I hope this team shows some heart and battles all the way to the end.

Canes +9.5 this AM. That is a lot of points for a Championship game. I don't feel that confident especially after our last outing. This game hinges on Malik bouncing back in a BIG way!

Herndon out definitely hurts. Irvin will get some time to show he is capable.

Any status on Jaquan Johnson yet? He was hobbled a bit at the end of last game. That is a HUGE piece if he isn't 100%.

lol, we are going to get curb stomped. Rosier is trash, and I will unfortunately be there to witness this beatdown live. Just like I was there in 2015 to witness the last time Clemson laid the smack down on us.

I loathe Fraud State, almost excessively. That being said, they would have a running game clock by 4th quarter against UCF.

I type UF but in lower case and stupid apple auto correct came up with us. Yes, the gators are in deep crap if ucf gets it teeth into that area. We will be shutting down So FL encroaching up north is Jax area. Good times all around.

Wow! Get a life buddy. Malik had a bad game and you start calling him trash?

why buy tickets for the game if you know Rosier is trash and that we'll get beat down? Maybe you're a closeted clemson fan

We heard that about UCF a few years ago as well, but as long at they're in the crap conference they will never become one of the top three in the state. There's nothing glamorous about playing for UCF and there's not much they can do about that.
UCF's issue will always be that they bring nothing to the table for a better conference, the state is made up of majority UF/FSU/Miami fans and they don't bring eyeballs or prestige.
Houston is a another prime example of a school that should be a power, but has never made the transition. Similar enrollment, in a much, much bigger city, but in a state that's dominated by two schools really. TCU has made strides, but we see how quickly fortunes can change in Baylor.

Richt and Diaz need to earn their paycheck this week. Lets Go Canes!

Exactly, this is the reason richt was fired at uga, he could get to the doorstep but that's it, let's see how he plays this game, undermanned, with basically no QB, gonna take a helluva coaching job

I bought those tickets as soon as it was announced that we won the coastal. Prior to Rosier ****ting his pants on Friday. I will always root for Miami, doesn't mean I am not a realist

Who would think we would beat them after that performance against Pitt. This is the first game all season where I don't see us winning. If we can't run in any given game, we are basically doomed. And I don't see us having much success against Clemson on the ground. It is what it is. I will be highly ****ed if Mark Richt thinks run the same ordinary plays that have been shut down all season will work and we get blown out.

Yeah, and it could be a SEQUEL of the ' 59-0 ' affair in Miami. :sanford:hUh. LOL

Not surprised that they think we don't beat Clemson. Clemson on a roll and we laid an egg at Pitt. Crowd will be solid Clemson fans. Difficult environment.
