I think and this is just my opinion and Lord I Hope I’m wrong, but I think the reason the Pastor hasn’t played JW is because he ain’t all that.

But he’s the only thing left he can hang his hat on and give the fanbase hope for the future with and if JW shows he can’t play he shows himself and the little Pastor as the total frauds they are.Why else wouldn’t he have played him when both Rosier and Perry showed themselves as crap and please spare me the RS BS.If the kids that good then he won’t be here 5 yrs anyways. If he’s better than frick and frack we’ve run out there you save the season and play him.Fck the RS.

Man I hope I’m wrong but I got a baaaaad feeling with this clown we have coaching this team.

I’m hoping that he knows that he ain’t got the horses to play and is just doing his version of stacking chips Without risking injury. He feels he’s going to do well enough in recruiting to unleash a more complete and talented squad next year.
Will it work and will we get to adequate play calling is the question.

Richt is trying to get us to the Kohler Porcelain Bowl game, so he'll do anything for one more win.

I don't know if we have a savior on campus. But I know we have three guys way more talented than Rosier.

And I bet at least a couple of them will turn out to be better players than him. My beef is that we didn't properly assess what we had in Rosier. If we did, we would have fast-tracked their development and gotten them reps with the 1s. Or brought in a grad transfer.

Grad transfer?!? What even remotely decent grad transfer would come to a school with a 5th year senior returning starter, two RS freshmen and a highly rated true freshman?

What holds him back in your mind @apfenny3 Arm strength? Reading defenses?
Cade has plenty of arm. He’s also got, by far, the fastest release of any QB on the roster and is the best runner by a large margin.

The only things holding him back are himself and Rickety’s garbage offense. His accuracy is a bit sketchy too. And that doesn’t tend to improve much over time.

Weldon is an awesome runner. Not necessarily a scrambler who is creating out of nothing, but he is dangerous on read-options and draws. I'm talking about 40-50 yard runs against our first team defense.

As a passer, he has a good arm and pretty good accuracy/finesse. If Malik has C arm talent and N'Kosi has A arm talent, Weldon is a B. The key for him is avoiding interceptions. What I like about him is also his downfall- he plays an aggressive, up-tempo style and is not afraid to take chances with his body or the football.

If I had to make a comp, it would Nick Fitzgerald from Mississippi St.
Fitzgerald is a horrible passer. I think Cade has way more potential as a passer.

If the head coach took a grad transfer, it would be a statement about the other guys.

Ask any Def player on the team what QB gives them the most trouble...

I would normally agree D-money but with how bad Qb play has been the last 2 years, I don't think Richt has a choice he needs a juco, grad transfer, and 2019 QB with possible transfers, injuries, and/or lack of development. If the Qb play is subpar next year ppl are going to want to go in another direction.

His ceiling may not be quite as high as Jarren or Kosi but I think he’s the most complete/best QB on the roster at the current moment

It's funny how the best QB's always seem to be the guys who never play. Dude is a good runner don't know much else.

You’re wrong don’t worry, players at least half want Williams. He plays really good in practice. Don’t think Richt wants to get him killed and lose confidence since our OL blows

I'm with you on this. I feel bad for any/all that have to take snaps behind the line. Brutal!

D, he threw some picks in the scrimmage and was yanked quickly against SSt., If I remember correctly. Is that reason for concern?
I was really looking forward to him being an asset when he first came in.

Yeah, everyone says that but then he comes in and sucks and people fall apart. Look at Perry, he "couldn't be any worse" and now people hate the kid because he wasn't noticeably better.
I
IMO, Jarren is the only one I want to see. 3 games left in the season that's all I care about, give the kid his reps for next year. If we are starting anyone but him next year it will be a **** show unless we get a great grad transfer but I doubt that very much. This kid looks like he has the goods, give him the reps. Why doesn't anyone ask Richt why isn't playing the kid. Recruits need to see we have a competent QB too before they walk out on us. What the **** is up with Richt? 4 million a year and in the best recruiting area in the world, wrap your head around this........
