What it boils down to is the AP needs to stop releasing weekly polls.

They should follow this format:

Release their annual preseason poll like normal.

Release an updated poll after week 4, since a good number of nonconference games are played in the first 4 weeks.

After the week 4 poll, release updated polls every 3 weeks through the rest of the season. This release schedule would put the final regular season poll being released right after rivalry weekend.

Release an updated poll after conference championship games.

Release final poll after bowl season.

And at no point did I ever state that he actually did rank them top 5. You are arguing a point that I never made, and somehow also insisting that I don't understand the source from which I quoted...before you even jumped into the conversation to attack me. It's asinine.

So you can make good on your "threat" and continue to disrespect me with your sexist, denigrating insults, as you have in every single one of your posts, but it truly doesn't bother me whatsoever. I don't know why you continue to die on this hill. I have no idea who you are and don't recall ever even seeing your name before this interaction, but you somehow claim to know me. It's really weird and creepy.

Once again, this is not productive. It is now a conversation filled with emotion and defensiveness.

I disagreed with you. I still do. However, I simply cannot meet you where you are.

No disrespect intended, even though I still believe your opinion was pretty ignorant. It’s not the end of the world. I just shared my opinion.

We clearly don’t agree with one another. That’s actually ok, even on the internet where everyone needs to be “right”.

So no need to defend yourself. You can put the knives away. You win.
