This. NIL has finally removed the biggest advantage those bag teams had. And the 12-team playoff keeps 20-30 teams in the hunt up until the last few games of the season. Makes it so much more interesting.

granted we are probably very biased here because NIL probably saved our program…but STILL…

Haven't watched enough games to decide on Avery but I'll take that Gibbons kid all day! He put so much on tape during that game. lol

Agreed. It was especially frustrating knowing **** well the top few teams were basically running an NIL program without it being legit

Over the course of the season, McAfee has thrown a couple barbs at Saban insinuating such. And, Saban has never denied it.

Definitely needed a bye to get healed & fix obvious flaws. Just keep winning & everything takes care of self, but performance/record of opponents to date is horrible. Crazy to follow these teams on weekly basis.

I feel like there's an answer between 4 team and 12 team playoff. It does make quite a few games meaningless

Agree. I could be wrong, but I felt like that was starting to happen last year while Saban was still there.

the roster is still filled with Saban's recruits even the last class is mainly his .
