Week 2 Gambling Thread

That's called the moneyline. The moneyline is based on a $100 bet. For a negative line it tells you how much you'd have to bet to win $100 profit. For a positive line it tells you how much profit a $100 bet pays.

So a -220 moneyline means you have to put $220 at risk to win $100 profit.

A +220 moneyline means you would win $220 profit on a $100 bet/risk.

YEAHH boy..i got it now....going to throw 50 on this and we will see how it goes maybe first time luck...

I follow Illinois a bit so I have some feel for the team. Offense is going to be much improved this season with a veteran o-line and a transfer QB from Michigan that is good at the quick and intermediate throws. I could see them potentially covering a lot of games this season. I am also on over 3.5 wins for the season.

Happened again Vegas just took another $50k bet on Illinois -20.5 at UCONN. Very interesting.

Wtf is going on with this Cane spread.Down 4 points to 2-.

Did our starters go on strike.I can’t believe the sharps are that ga ga over UNC’s win over USCe...

Here is what I've got my eye on for week 2. I think the wrong team is favored in all four of these games.

Syracuse +1.5 @ Maryland
Colorado +2.5 hosting Nebraska
Stanford +2.5 @ USC
Fresno +3 hosting Minnesota

Considering:

E. Michigan +15.5 @ Kentucky
Arkansas +7 @ Ole Miss
Tulane +19 @ Auburn
Really like Fresno +3

I have -4. Has anything happened? Talk of movement to -2.5 is too much to just be money in at this point.

Tampa Bay PK against the 49ers is easy money. Florida heat wave, cross country travel, Garoppolo rusty ACL recovery, great matchup for Bucs passing game. Bucs killed them last year in this spot and not much has changed. I like the over too cause 49ers have weapons that match up well against Bucs DBs.

What sites do you guys use these days? I used to be a bodog guy it’s been a while since I got into gambling but I need something to keep me interested in the non UM games

Bodog! Man, that brings back some memories.

Same as KBC, I have a personal bookie and put bets in through the BetPops interface. So im no help. I used Bovada.lv for years for both poker and sports betting and liked it. They're solid with payouts. Just make sure you keep a photocopy of front/back of every card you use to deposit.

Now that was years ago; sh-t, probably a decade ago. So there are possibly better sites now, even tho I know bovada is still out there. Poptimus posted last week re a couple sites he suggests. I trust his knowledge on all things betting.
