Week 1: Miami (OH) - 7pm Friday 09/01

Will be a lackluster but solid win, 34-10. Saving the playbook for TAMU. :)

Size wise they are pretty big on the OL. Good formidable early szn test

We will win 29-20 instead of what should be 41-14. The following will happen:

1) We will have a turnover deep in our own territory that gifts them 3 or 7;
2) We will have a horrendous defensive breakdown, leading to a big play, giving them a 5 play drive for 3 or 7;
3) On one drive, we will take ourselves out of a FG attempt either by penalty or turnover;
4) On one drive, we will attempt to score a TD on 4th and goal, when we should have taken the FG:
5) On another drive, we will settle for the FG, despite having 1st and goal inside the 5. (#s 4 and 5 may come in reverse sequential order to the list).

Until I see a team that doesn't self-immolate, I won't believe we are capable of playing a clean game.
 
we would be the meme of the year if we blew this game.

We'd be hearing "Miami Ohio is the REAL Miami" for the rest of our lives.

and unfortunately i can really see it happening. its just impossible to feel good about this team. :/

That does a great job at summarizing the past 15+ years of this program.

Death by a thousand cuts. 99% of which are self-inflicted
 
as most have said the game will be much closer than it needs to be but I have no doubt with our improved OL and our RB core, we should be fine
