Week 1 Depth Chart

Depth chart = coaches attempt to motivate, misguide, and tell us who might starts the game on the field. Let's see who actually plays the most and how the snaps bear out. It's not to say its useless, but also not something I am willing to get heated over.

Now I have a counter to why Wiggins should be over Pope on any depth chart / get even minimal snaps. Dee "hands of stone" Wiggins stretches the field and has actual long speed you need to respect. To me he serves as a decoy and provides a skill set others can't, and so I rather Bama have to account for that (or more accurately, not pay him any attention and give man to man with no help) and perhaps he makes a big play or two.

That Rambo + your Keyshawn + an even more senior version of Mike Harley (breaking the color barrier here, but dare we hope for Braxton Berrios senior year?) + some Restrepo/Redding and the three amigos. That would be something. Give Lashlee the ability to run lots of 1-back and empty sets.

I think Harley had a better season last year than Braxton's last year...so we should just hope he has a similar year to what he had last year with 799 yards receiving.

Nesta has been banged up alot. they were pretty close before that. There’s multiple guys listed as backups that have had some issues but will likely play as much or more than the guy listed above them. GF and AC will split reps and be on the field together at times.
 
I think most posters are just reacting for the sake of reacting. Nothing on that depth chart looks completely crazy. If BJ Jennings had been the starter over Flagg this whole site would have had to shutdown for a day. So lets stop complaining about Flagg. Hes the MLB. Hes all we got so we gotta ride with him. Brooks is hurt and we got nobody else.

Bama runs 3 wide as seen on their depth chart so TS, Couch and Ivey will all see starters minutes. ACarter looks like Bernard Pollard 2.0 out there physique wise. I dont mind seeing what that physicality can do against Bama. We need some guys who wont stop hitting Brian Robinson Jr for 4 quarters. Put AC on that list of guys who wont.

Everything else looks great to me. What are we complaining about? This is the lineup we wanted to see against Bama. Esp in the trenches. Grown men on the 2 deep across the OL and DL. No RS-Fr or Tr-Fr. This is for the grown folks only. No skinny jeans, T-Shirts, hats, or sneakers allowed on Sept 4th at 3:30! Cant ask for better than that!!

I saw his soul leave his body at hard rock.. I guess salute to him for coming back and trying to redeem himself but all last year was just ejections and him getting punked unc game.. **** is crazy

This is Diaz being gimmicky or incredibly smart. Not sure which one.

I hope they can stop the run with 5 DB’s.

Carter can look like an nfl player but we have years of film of him just getting penalties and ejected dam near ever other game.. and then last game unc shang tsung him basically.. dude must be the best practice player because in games for years and nothing to show
