Jake got a pretty nice snap count last game, but most of it was in run out the clock time.

I'd love to see him get the 3rd, 4th, and 5th series next game. Everyone knows there's no Qb competition, but let the pup get some meaningful snaps.
Nah they got him in at right time.. Cant break the flow of offense when TVD needs as many reps as possible in new offense also. TVD is still a relatively young qb who also needs reps in new offense. As long as we do what we are supposed to do, Jake can get in reps in games like Bethune, So Miss, Midd Tenn, Duke & GT (possibly)

Nah bruh need the 1s getting all the prep they can get. The backups should definitely come in earlier than last week but you need to build rhythm early in games. Doesn't benefit the team to give meaningful reps to the backup.

TVD gon be straight.

Just don't move him under center mid-game. :ROFLMAO:

This already makes me feel better than the prior coaching regime.

Give the players Saturday/Sunday to celebrate, and then go back at it hard and with a keen eye for the flaws that the coaches know are there.

But most importantly, don’t get complacent and celebrate because you blew out a team you were supposed to blow out.

One of the biggest gripes I had about Manny is that he never seemed “unsatisfied“ like Mario does. That’s one thing I find with the top coaches in any sport, they’re never quite satisfied, and they’re always looking for ways to grind down weaknesses and turn them into positives.

Manny never had a feel for this, but Mario does. You can tell in the tenor of his comments and attitude, namely, paraphrasing “It just isn’t anywhere near good enough“

I think some folks are overreacting to last weeks game defensively. There was a bunch of gap integrity breakdowns, losing contain on scrambles / cutbacks.

There was also issues in the secondary, Ivey taking the awful angle on the drag route allowed a first down. There’s no way a mesh concept gets a third and 23. You give up a catch in front of the coverage and make the tackle. Not only did he take a bad angle , trip over his feet he took out another defender trying to make a play. I know it’s cliche to pick on 8 but at this point the staff is at fault if they keep throwing him out there , especially if this trend continues. He’s not starting himself.

Agreed I think Ivey and Flagg start until they become unbearable. I just wanna see one of these DEs wreak havoc. Nyjalik didn't get alot of burn but him and Thomas Davis looked elite off the edge.
