We will never win big with this run scheme

Louisville D line took it to the O line all night. We couldn't run and Beck faced far more pressure than he has all year.

Worst part about it is the offensive coaches did nothing to change up what wasn't working. Total failure coming out of the bye week.

Mario and media people are going to focus on Beck’s interceptions, but the root is the lack of creativity in the run game that hurts us most.
Hope the coaches take a long look at their philosphy, but we don’t have another bye week, so not sure how realistic to think any changes coming.

Also, this game put a major spotlight on lack of production/targets/impact of the 3rd WR and TE. Might want to give Jojo or Moore another look as a #3 wr and maybe give some of the freshman TEs a shot to stretch the field a bit.

Id love Louisville run scheme tbh. And it ain't even that ****.

I love we can get 1 yard 100% of the time and sometimes gash them. But far too often running up the gut kills drives. And killing drives is way more deadly than whatever the other option is.

No this isn't a reaction to this game. I've been pounding this last year and earlier this year too. Game Ain't Based On Simple. Well our run scheme is as simple as it gets and it's too easy for teams to defend.
Brown gets to use his speed, over and over and over. The same stupid play, off tackle, while we refuse to use the advantages we have for now mfing reason.

This is why people blame Mario for losses.

I’ll always be a 100 percent believer in anything you post

Not sarcasm

Beck didn’t start getting any pressure until late in the game when Lville knew we couldn’t run it anymore and were just bringing it.

I’ve distanced myself from the program because it’s just so boring in general and I’m disinterested. I sell my tickets every week now with no interest in going. I’ve ended up buying them last minute for ND and UF just telling myself I’ll regret it not going.

Idk if it’s the style of football we play or if it’s just been too long and it’s all faded for me. Or it’s just how it goes getting in my 30s with 2 kids and important **** to do.

**** like tonight just has it on a rapid decline for me. Same thing happened with me and the Cardinals. Used to watch 130+ games a year and then they let all of their stars go or retire and didn’t have new ones coming up. Play boring baseball. Haven’t watched a pitch in 3 years now.

All these comments just prove some should turn to Jai alai as your favorite sport. We played the act opposite to the way Mario wants to play and guess what?? We lost. I wonder if we actually tried to run the ball, what would’ve happened.

Apologies to those that have criticized the.way we run the ball....you were 100% right. I don't care what statistics you want to show me...we make it a lot more difficult than it has to be with the quality of the OL.

Dawson pretty told yall weeks back Mirable the Run game coordinator.. so basically him and Mario calls that **** ****
Then they need a hard, hard look in the mirror, how is it that the 1 run we run outside the tackles resulted in a td but before that we continue to run straight into a stacked box? There’s no imagination with Dawson, luckily Lyle recovered his own fumble there on that dive.

I feel this.
Mario wants to turn this program around and he says the right thing and he is awesome in the offseason. And I want to believe…

But its a book we’ve read again and again and we know the ending. So there are times where i’m like “what’s the point”

But I’m sure I will be back here next week. But I feel this. Sigh.

The run scheme is egregious. Up the middle, up the middle. Beck played horrible tonight, and a lot of the blame goes on him tonight, but Mario just is not a smart coach. For as much progress he's had, on the field it all comes to an end and get's exposed. Miami probably could have had mendoza if mario wasn't so hard headed and stubborn

Dawson did nothing again. Looked exactly like it did when he left TVD hanging out to dry

The best play of the night was the 2 point play ....

And how would that look? Run up the middle 3 straight times instead of two????

The RUN GAME STINKS. IT NEEDS TO CHANGE.

Dawson is supremely overrated. He has his ceiling and we have hit it. We need an OC that can actually game prep and adapt when opposing teams try and make us one dimensional. This game makes me appreciate just how talented an offensive mastermind like Brohm is.
