We will never win big with this run scheme

Beck’s 4 picks go hand in hand with game plan. Even in our wins, Dawson’s moronic and conservative game plan’s made our victories closer than they should have been. Many of us have seen this coming. Running for 63 is just as much on Dawson as it is on players, as well.
There were wide open receivers often enough. Don't throw the ball to the other team. It really isn't that hard. Beck ****ed up bigly. All he had to do was be something other than historically atrocious and we win.

Well I’m glad it took one loss for the board to realize something that has been an obvious problem since Mario has been here lol

Can’t both be true? Beck looked like TVD all over again and Dawson did nothing to help him and our run game. I’m not letting Dawson off the hook. This has been the case all season long.

Dawson can point the finger at the midget all he wants but when it’s all falling apart he needs to grab the reins and get it right

There's no need to take personal shots at Mirabal, I'm ****ed off too but there's no reason for that.
Fair enough. Either way he needs to start accepting that bully ball can’t be our run scheme the way teams are defending us… tapes been out and every week teams have done a better job of stopping us till Louisville finally did it

You can delegate authority but you can't delegate responsibility. The game plan on offense is ultimately on Mario, Dawson and Mirabel

This is my biggest concern with Mario. You can’t bully everyone in this game. This is 2 games in a row an inferior defense stopped our running game because everyone knows what we are going to do. Meanwhile, Louisville’s scheme gives their offense a chance despite a ****** OL.
He'll never change, he's been doing it since Oregon. We all know it, just sucks to admit it.

It's like he thinks trickery or actual scheming is cowardly or something. It's just so frustrating because this year's team is finally truly good, but he's going to hold them back.

We gave up 3 TDs by letting bell just run underneath crossin routes the entire game. UL offense was throw it underneath to bell on a crossing or hand it to brown. That was it. Those are the only plays they basically gained yards on.

I truly don't understand why the coaches even recruit the Lyles, the Chris Johnsons, the Pringle Jrs, etc. They spend a ton on these guys (sounds like Lyle specifically got a fortune to fight off Bama) and then have one run play they call and put these guys that need space in a phone booth.

It's just mind numbing and so easy to fix. This team could be exponentially better tomorrow if you actually mixed up the run calls and didn't run every first down. There's a reason i haven't, and probably wont ever be able to change my profile pic.

It's amazing how many runs we have for no gain. That shouldn't be happening with the talent we have at RB and OL. We don't open holes. Even against lesser teams. We rely on moving the pile and running guys over. It's idiotic.
It's more than idiotic! It's one of the most braindead things I've ever seen in football. This entire running scheme is pure garbage and frankly I've felt that way for 3 years now. Even from the beginning of this year while all these talking heads were gulping our bathwater about the OL and our power running game, I could see this coming. We have zero explosive capability in our rushing attack and for some strange reason we are trying to be a run first team. Watching this offense is like watching paint dry. Mario could stack this offense 3 deep with 5 star OL, WR, RB and TEs and this offense will look the same. He is always going to slow things down to a crawl and allow inferior teams the chance to hang around and steal the game. That will never change. The only way we see something different is with a gifted natural passer who can create on his own. Statues(Beck) just don't work in this offense. We need a dual threat or mobile QB who can threaten the defense on the edges for this idiotic run scheme to work.

Our o-line is very much overrated. They have never been good at run blocking under Mario here. Pass blocking yes they are good. I don’t think it’s a talent issue. It’s a scheme issue.

Wow!

Well, I disagree. They definitely showed up against ND.. and UF.. and FSU.

Yesterday, collectively, they had a bad game
