We need difference makers

Restrepo is overrated. I said what I said.
I don't know about that tbh. I kind of thought for most of his career that he was overperforming by some metrics. I have liked his effort overall. Is it possible that he is caught up in all the TVD ****?

I wish you could see the receivers most plays. Literally no separation. Even on the long td there was two db’s all over the wr. One just took an awful angle. We need playmakers , qb’s and offense that’s not prehistoric , caveman ball. That’s just the honest truth.

we have some play makers.
Harrell on a go- 1 time all year, don’t care if the D knows it is coming,
BS with 3 fing targets. Put BS on the out route and X cutting inside on the last play and see BS open.
Ray ray with zero targets
Horton with zero targets when he should have taken the go routes thrown to the slow Young.
Young with zero targets in the red zone when 50/50 balls are needed in man coverage vs 5’9 DBs.

Careful. He’s one of the “south florida dogs” that are gonna bring Miami a national championship.

In all seriousness, Fletcher is fine. He’s not a game breaker and not somebody who should be getting 20 carries a game. Yet that’s exactly what he’s getting. We have such a mid RB room.
Fletcher is a #2 RB and that’s what he’ll always be if he doesn’t see the blocks and open space. Idk if that’s the reason why we don’t see his speed if he even has one. He thinks too much.

Year one- kids think too much
He is also asked to run into loaded boxes all game long.

We need QB and WR improvements in the worst way. JJ, Carr, Trader plus a good QB vs those DBs would of had us with 400 yards passing and 35 points.

A good running back would’ve won us that game. The run where he goes to Restrepos left and the one where he goes up the middle instead of going left.

On offense. From Qb, rb, on down to wr. We have to nickel and dime the ball down field because our wr’s rarely get any separation. If the plan is to run this vanilla , , unimaginative , caveman offense we’ll be needing explosive , dynamic athletes all over the field. To turn short catches into explosive plays.

You know that tingling feeling you get in your balls when Coleman ,Benson and other skill guys get in space ? That’s how you know they’re difference makers. You hold your breath when they touch it.

Lastly go get me a ******* qb that can run and pass like the rest of college football. We continue to be stuck in the past.
Harbaugh does it this way why can’t we? Jacurri that inaccurate that he can’t throw passes within the sticks? That’s all that was asked for Emory yesterday and he even missed throws.

A true artist would have Dawson’s head on the left caveman with Gattis’ head floating like a ghost watching over them

John Lennon was an artist. He said “ give him a tuba and he get you something out of it”…

If he can get something out of a tuba Dawson should be able to get something out of TVD and the RB’s..

Not one of those players are anyone proven. Jackson is the only one we know of just because he played here…but he’s not a game changer let’s be real.

Williams and hill…how’d they do with Coleman and Wilson out?
Ok, Donny.

Keep living in LaLa Land. FSU sucks and everything is ok here. 15-0 next year.

I wholeheartedly believe the kid doesn’t wanna play here and wanted the redshirt to keep eligibility for his next school. If he wanted to play he could’ve already.
That makes ZERO sense. If he didn't want to be here he would have went into the portal. Try harder next time.

And how does his stock raise after a redshirt? Lol it was mentioned last year during season that jaccuri was mature and wanted a RS to develop. He may end up transferring, sure. But wasn't the reason he asked for a RS

I think the sad truth that I came to realize last week is that Mario is not recruiting good enough to make up for his style of football.

Like you said, we need elite players all over the place.

And let me clarify, I think Mario is a great recruiter. Best Miami has seen since Butch. However, not good enough of a re recruiter to make up for his style of offense.

At best, we will have elite talent and by in weekly battles with GT and UVA winning by 10 points instead of blowing them out by 30 how we should be. This brand of football just makes it harder to succeed.

It's like if a coach comes into the NBA and said, ok no more 3 pointers. I want to be tough and physical, throw the ball into the post all game long and pound them. Like I get it, physicality is great but points is the name of the game. And Mario doesn't care about points.

We have so much speed on this team and its not used. Look at Mike McDaniels the way he gets creative with his speed.

Us? Ray Ray, CJ and Harrell on the bench. Brashard we get creative with him by bringing him to the LOS to block.

This style needs top 5 classes on top of top 5 classes (like UGA and Mich). Were getting top 15 classes.

So my point is Mario as great as he is, isn't recruiting good enough to succeed with his style of ball.

We ran what amounts to goal line formations near mid-field on first and second down. With 10 yards to go on each down.

We need talent that *surpasses* UGA to make that style of offense work.

He plays in the B10 . The entire conference is sticking your face in a fan. There’s a reason they normally get boat raced in the playoffs most times.

It also took Harbaugh like 7 years to get Michigan to this point and Harbaugh is also a lot better coach then Mario. Harbaugh is an OC/QB coach by nature. His scheme is a legit pro style offense that took them years to figure out how to run effectively.
