We have a problem with ACC refs

Oh don't kid yourself. It's known. Been known.
We almost went a whole season 2 years ago without the refs calling a single holding penalty on the opposing offenses , while having the #1 TFL defense in the nation. Can't make that **** up.

We might as well just take the names off the jerseys and replace them with HE HATE ME. We need to get the **** out of the ACC if we ever want to have a chance to compete on the even.

I get it. You never want to leave a games in the hands of the refs. We all too well know this. But this ACC officiating is borderline criminal when it comes to their bias against the U!

86 ACC REFS!!!

Go Canes!!!!
But where do we go? The big 12? You don’t think will get some biased calls against us from the Texas conference? I think the only option is being an independent again like ND. With all the TV ratings clout we have I don’t see why we couldn’t sign a deal like ND has. We constantly dominate the ratings, let’s use that to our advantage.

I've been saying let's go to the SEC for a while now.

if we're gonna get hosed on calls, might as well be in a legit conference where florida can't actually run from us anymore.

Don’t forget a bunch of ghetto kids stuck it to the
Privileged football establishment and told me about it when it happened. This is their payback. They have to protect their Golden haired money cow...

Bottom line is the refs have been ***king our boys for years.

I said it in the “what are your concerns” thread before the game. The refs are what we had to be the most concerned about, and lo and behold, from the first series of the game, they were on our ***. That 4th down offsides call was horrible.,Even Herbstreit said during the replay that it looked like a bad call.

The myriad of bad calls just mushroomed from there.

The targeting calls were atrocious, especially when their guys targeted our players at least twice, and not even a flag was thrown.

I saw at least 5 clear holds on their OL that were not called. Their WR’s were holding all game long.

This **** started in the 2001 National Championship game, when we were robbed. It’s gotten worse and worse since then.

Manolo is a *****, as was Richt, Folden, Radio and Clappy. You do that to my team, I will pull them off the field, and tell the refs that they are a bunch of corrupt sons of bytches.

Our guys work way to hard during the off-season to not have their backs.

Clempson is the better team, but it doesn’t help when the zebras are cheating!

The refs are not perfect but they called a fair game.
I try to be on this side Andrew and I want to believe there isn’t a biased against us because if that’s the case then it literally just makes me want to throw up my hands and give up because this game is hard enough to win with out fighting against another opponent from your own ******* conference the refs. Smh I just can’t wrap my head around the targeting call on sunshine, how and the **** are you supposed to tackle anymore. The review came from the booth and @SFbayCane said they had of maybe still do have conference administrators up in the replay booth, that just screams corruption and I can’t believe that would still be allowed? Smh

The last three games, including this Clemson game has me questioning the refs penalties. Miami guys being held on the defensive line, if he even looks like a hard hit targeting calls. I saw Wiggins get push down on a deep ball and there was no flag and the Clemson cornerback picks off the ball. I'm watching um players get pushed in the back trying to make a tackle. I saw Carter pushed in the back an graze the Clemson quarterback. DB goes to tackle quarterback at the midsection and get hits with targeting And I'm not blaming the refs completely. The game is hard enough we don't need the refs helping our opponents
No, we have a problem with not using the grey matter between our ears.

Dang man I’ve never heard that before about having conference administrators involved in the replay booth. Smh please SFbay tell me that has been fixed and those mutherfvckers aren’t in the replay booth anymore? This blatant corruption is make me just say to **** with all this, the games already to hard to win especially if your getting fvcked by your own conference for gods sake.

Working from a vague memory but I believe it was the Pac 12 that first got exposed after a conference administrators in the booth overruled the referees in the booth based on what was best for the Pac 12 championships. After that there was mounting pressure (likely from the casino gambling industry) to find out where all this was happening.

(brief article referencing the event) - 2018

In 2016 the ACC created a replay command center in North Carolina where all replays are reviewed. After the 2018 Pac 12 story broke the ACC admitted that conference administrators were involved in replay reviews. Keep in mind this replay command center was set up the season after the Canes had that epic last second comeback kickoff return to beat Duke where the replay official overturned a call on the field giving the Canes the win. The ACC suspended that replay crew the next week.

There is a level of criminality to this stuff that the average person does not want to believe.

@NicKane - For some reason the article I posted above is not showing up. Do a web search for a bleacher report article titled,

Thanks for getting back to me SFbay, well I just pray that with the pac 12 getting busted that brought the downfall of that kind of BS here in the acc. In no way shape or form is it acceptable to have Carolina biased ******* admins up there telling the refs what calls to make. That’s next level corruption and needs a whistle blown on. Smh

I read the report but it doesn’t say anything about the ACC. I would think that no way miami or any other university outside of the Carolinas would stand for that from the acc and the whistle would be blown all over that scandal. Atleast I hope so!

Again, the ACC was the first (only?) conference to do a centralized command center for booth replays. They started it in 2016, the year after the Canes- Duke game where we won on the last second miracle kickoff return. In that game the booth replay official overruled the call on the field for a block in the back. That replay crew was suspended the next week and the ACC administrators started calling games in North Carolina the next season.

Remember, the booth can now create a penalty, not just review ones called on the field. THAT needs to go away IMO.
