This is was our “dogfight” and we won 41-13. This was tougher than fsu or Pitt or unc

Wake was also a "dogfight" for a significant portion of the game.
We are good enough to run the table but this does not necessarily mean it is going to happen.
On any given day, a run of additional injuries, a series of officials making bad calls against our guys in a game, can wreck us.
It is easy to pick up a preseason mag and look at rosters and schedules and listen to the clueless idiots in Las Vegas, but that is not how it works.

NC may not be cake walk and we play them up there. Petino, like Brohm can scheme it up with the best of them. Their teams always been a pain to defend.

But we also have had games where we don't do well coming off bye weeks.

Agree that this has been true over Mario's tenure. BUT, at this point we have both the Jimmies and Joe's and the X's and O's. We have the talent, versatility, and coaching to exploit weaknesses in any conference opponent. Sure, injuries primarily, penalties, poor execution could de-rail, but injury is by far the biggest in-conference concern, imo.

Yall say this every year even when we are ****. Bama when they were good was also everyone SB stop with the excuses. Unless we lose Mensah or 10 starters we should be everyone outside ND.

Just because there is not a ranking by a team does not mean easy win. Sec/Big Ten have the most the slots before the season starts and the media has convinced themselves ACC is not good. Wake is a very good team,, FSU is playing hard for their coach, and multiple other ACC teams are good. V tech and Pitt are both capable of beating us if we play poorly and they bring an A game. Let’s get healthy and see who we can be while taking care of business 1 week at a time. We can’t win a title in October but we can lose the opportunity to play for one in October/ November! Enjoy the games fellas

The ACC is trash. Wake was a strugglefest with Purdue just cause they beat Louisville now they are 2000s Kansas State
