We Can Win With Manny’s Defense

We continue to judge Manny based on a bowl game that none of the players were remotely interested in playing in. Try looking at his body of work this year. I am not saying this is a good hire. But ****, stop acting like we did not have the second D in the nation. The announcers in the bowl game said that what they noticed on tape was Miami had a playoff caliber defense.

Exactly!!!! But of course everybody that didn’t get their guy will point out every negative associated with Diaz. With the right hires he can win. He can’t miss on coaches!

Bringing up Texas is amateur hour. We have the 2nd ranked defense in the country but defense is a problem?

You are right....no coach is perfect....but this is a POOR hire at BEST.

Why not at least interview other candidates. Amateur hour.

What Top 20 offenses did we play this year.

I’m not saying Manny is a horrible DC....but his resume does not lead him to this job.

Recruiting.....not good under him

Depth at DT.....

Complete **** show at UM. Clearly now we are battling Temple.

This is absolutely the saddest **** ever...unless they bring in the best OC in the land...and even then...we are again no better than Temple quality head coaching.

Manny is not hometown hero. He is a frigging nole. Being Cuban does not make him a Hurricane. Randy at least still had speed on the team. Sun has not even come up and I am already discussed with this hire.

Not by our standards. He's a hometown hero by the standard of Flake and the marketing morons at UM. That was seriously the first cot**** thing they mentioned in the press release- his "deep Miami roots". Shoulda just gave the job to Emilio Estefan.
