I like this post. If not for the statistical insight, at least for the unbridled optimism. Richt has a great reputation at developing QB's, and Rosier's story isn't finished yet. But I tend to think that CMR staying with Malik is more a product of it being the best he has for now than confidence in his QB. And that's just my opinion.
Expect Rosier to get the start in the first few games, and expecting both Perry and Williams to get significant snaps in games 2-4. Both will likely be hot on his tail until Rosier slips up and one of the two (smart money seems to be Williams) takes his job. Question will be if he can keep it.
On the flip side, how amazing would it be for Rosier, with all of us hating on him, to step up and have a great season, win the ACC, get us into the CFP or at least win a major bowl? Maybe we should all be hating on him a little less and rooting for him a little more.
