We can only hope this happens

Dude no comparison one was a Heisman Trophy winner the other could buy alcohol 3 years ago. Charlie Ward was not a quarterback by default people are reaching for straws if they even think they're in the same boat. Take your homework caps off and get real. Rosary won't finish the season at QB.

Rosary? Sick burn.

After thinking about it a bit lately, I too believe rosier will not end the season as a starting qb. I think by half way point his snap count will be greatly reduced. I just don't think he has it in him to make the needed corrections and improvements

This is not accurate. Richt wasn't Charlie Wards OC. Most of Richts QBs in a richt coordinated offense have not been lights out.

Not bashing richts play calling but QBs seem to struggle throwing with him calling plays.

I believe he can improve this year. I was also 100% sure KD was staying in OKC.
OT.. KD second home was Dallas while he was playing in OKC. His agent mention how KD wanted to be in a major city instead of a town that shuts down at 12. FYI Here at also mentioned in 3 years he may be in back home in the east.

This couldn’t be further from the truth

Brad Kaaya did well under CMR play call and also Matt Stafford the number one pick Charlie Ward Heisman Trophy winner and Aaron Murray had success reaching the pros.

I know that but Richt worked with both closely.

I'm not to sure about the Richt OC comment. At FSU they were lights out offensively. At UGA they were pretty meh I guess. My concern is can we actually be a great offense with him at OC in this era of football and so far it been a no but I've given him time to recruit OL since that was the biggest problem when he came in. This year is no excuses from me. He had time to recruit/find O-linemen and it's the QB second year in the system.

My hope is a healthy Ahmond Richards, an experienced Jeff Thomas, a deep backfield of Homer, DJ, and Lingard, and new talents Jordan at TE and George as a true blocking FB will help offset Rosier’s deficiencies. If Richt can find solutions to last season’s red zone problems the offense will be fine. And the added points will help out the defense.

Just knowing rosier didn’t have his main option at receiver fully healthy and our starter at running back should bode well for this year because he was still pretty productive regardless. With the new depth, talent and experience our offense should be even more potent this year

Did u really just compare malik to charlie ward? Stats dont always tell the story. If thats the only comparison ok i guess. But play style is nowhere near similar.

I think the comparison OP is making is the potential for marked improvement. There was a time Charlie Ward couldn’t hit the side of a barn. He was awful when he first trotted out there for FSU. Bowden & Richt had to really slow the game down for him because he couldn’t make the right reads. He also consistently overthrew WR’s (sound familiar). If I remember correctly they had to **** near throw away the playbook and draw up plays on the fly for Ward. The thing with Ward is he had the tools to be a great QB, he just needed seasoning. When he settled and things slowed down for him he was amazing. I don’t think Rosier has the natural talent to be amazing, I am hoping for simply good and we will be fine.

I still say if Rosier can just check down to his 2nd or 3rd receiver that will be major improvement. I’ve still yet to see him look off a safety or go through progressions. ****, just don’t stare down AR82 and I’ll be happy.

To improve, Rosier needs to spend at least 50% of his time on accuracy drills.

Second priority is developing tremendous chemistry with all of his prime targets for this season.

I think he's put in significant work in the weight room & will continue to run well. He simply needs to work on his accuracy (and be given the tools to do so). Maybe we could suggest some drills for him. Here's a video from Peyton Manning from Youtube.com which talks about throwing a ball accurately:D:

Rosier needs to improve and he’s inaccurate but let’s face it we had a lot of drops last year too. This is just the first half of the season, I’m sure we had some in the second half too. That sh*t adds up

why do people talk about Walton being out as an excuse for Rosier? Homer dominated when he took over as starter. DJ was great as well. We didn’t have a drop off at RB at all when Walton went down. And I love Walton, way more than homer.

It’s an excuse and it’s not why we tanked at the end of the season.

Doesn't matter who was on the field. He lack the ability to throw bubble screens properly. He also fail to throw accurate passes to wide open WRs. AR82 is good but he isn't a make a below average QB look good kind of good.

They got to help him too, he’s already inaccurate. We really need to cut down on the dropped passes

Part of the drops were because there were poorly placed balls. The Cuse game was the only game were WRs (mainly AR) were actually dropping passes that were accurately thrown.
