"Conference championships" is never used, with no reference to the games at all.

Instead its about which team champions each conference from a rankings perspective. The committee should disregard ACC rules altogether and just take Miami to represent the conference as 4th highest ranked champion.

Reality set in for me when I realized the narrative had shifted from "Miami beat ND. Miami should be in over ND" to "you can't punish Alabama for playing in a conference championship game".

Just seems like Alabama has become the new priority. Us being left out is acceptable now just so long as Alabama is in. No talk about ND not deserving to be in.
