They won’t, but if you actually compare the three teams miami should be the first team in the playoff. The issue is the committee isn’t crediting the entirety of the resume and really giving notre dame and bama passes with their early failure which is crap. Once again hope i’m proved wrong
 
I know if they leave us out, I'll never watch another minute of college football. I'll read this board to see how Miami is playing.

Those games do not count.

Anymore than an NFL preseason game counts towards a team’s playoff chances
 
I hope you are right for those saying that the committee doesnt want a backlash for leaving miami out, but I think they are trying to appease the sec and ND since since they bring in the most money and draw. Miami 100% deserves to be in the playoff.

The one thing I still dont understand is how they can justify not having a single team from acc in after Duke won last night? I think this is is absolute trash.

They seem to be more worried about getting a G5 team in like JMU than getting a more deserving team in like miami.

I hope I am wrong and miami makes it in but I have 0 faith in the playoff comm thus far.

Miami. Any Bama backlash is based upon doing this stupid **** weekly. They sucked for the past month. They sucked last week and jumped ND.
Miami wasn't playing well "recently" in the first rankings according do them. If that is the case ⏬️

Pretty simple stuff there is three teams and two spots. Compare the 3 teams full resume and determine who gets in. If they did it this way miami would have tie breaker over both and the last spot would be a notre dame vs alabama discussion. This is how anyone with a shred of common sense would determine the last two spots.

The committee is going to tie themselves into pretzels to get notre dame and bama in. It’s not about your teams resume is about making an argument to support the team they want in the playoffs resume and to overlook the data points they said will determine who is in the field.
