I was moving from Dallas back to Florida that day. I ask my wife if she could look up who we hired. I had to pull over for a few and talk myself into it......I never did talk myself into thinking he'd be a good coach. I just remember thinking we have the most clueless AD in Power 5.

I’ll gladly eat **** if I’m wrong and I’ve admitted on here before. Va Tech I said game was over when it was 14-3 and owned it and the Purdue basketball game last week I said it was over in the first half and owned that. I’m sticking by my guns here and will continue to say the coaches and some of these players are giant pussies. Until they prove me otherwise, myself and 95% of the board here will be on the same page.

Breath, it’s going to be ok. There is a process and it’s happening. I do not believe manny is the coach to lead us back to greatness. However, we need three top 10/15 classes and 85 to lay the foundation for the coach who is. Be grateful we lost the way we did to unc. Had he won that game, odds are he would have been offered and accepted a two year extension. We’ll keep the class and the money. It’s a huge victory for the program long term
 
I would take Mack Brown over Butch. However, I don't think either Mack or Butch do what most fans are expecting out of the Canes.

Dwinstitles wanted Richt gone. RICHT. The dude that won us our only Coastal title. The dude with 2 SEC titles and a National title as OC.

Let me know when we get a better coach than Richt walking through Hecht. It ain't happening.

it was a lie the "real search" was a lie it was BS and people forgot they had said they were doing all due diligence. They lied and everyone was ok with it. He was the lowest on my list the lowest, he was the one guy i said if we hire him we are fuqed. It was one of the happiest days for me when MR stepped down followed by 7 hours later they hire Diaz. I was so fuqin mad but it was so Miami

I would take Freeze or Butch, give me evaluators who cheat and close. Dont give me the slogan BS coach speak.......perform at a high level and beat bama osu and Cu on the trail or stfu and leave. Thats what i want in a coach

Right didn’t want to fire his son and give up play calling. He also promoted Banda to DC. Dude looked like he had early dementia. Richt at Miami was washed which shows how low a bar it is to win the coastal.

I dont know who it is but we need someone whos better then Diaz, Mannys system was done as soon as RJ and Willis left i even said that then. He didnt recruit good DTs at all and hes paying for it now. We need the next big thing at HC and I dont know who that is

I praised Richt after that move. I chose to ignore the last year of his tenure here because he recognized he was beyond burned out and instead of putting the school through a buyout negotiation, he walked away clean. I respect him leaving that money on the table. Which makes me even more ****ed at Blake James. ************ gave you an out and you panic then hire Manny Diaz? Dude won't even land a Group of 5 AD job after this if he ever gets fired. We need a president that comes through and recognizes the money and recognition that having a power house football program does for your university.

No, no I didn’t celebrate but I thought we made some strides because we didn’t come out sluggish and looked prepared. The ****ers almost got me.
