Vols Tears

Barely 2600 yards and only 19 TDs in 13 games. And asking for that type of money smh. I’m sure schools will pay but Tennessee needs to say no. Heupel is a good play caller and I don’t think this kid is the “can’t miss” prospect he was believed to be coming out of HS. I don’t think they fall off just cause he leaves

Vols have no choice in this imo..
But now y'all see the start of the full ramifications of ignoring this for so **** long...sad **** they didn't have way more foresight..

Agreed. You pay him more and he plays well hes gone to the league. If he sucks they move on from him anyway

Refresh me here, Tennessee has no back up plan, nobody in their room to step up? WTF, they’re GD UT, SEC, is their recruiting that F**ked up? This is some sorry S**t
Imagine if Carson Beck was like either pay me more or im going back to Georgia. We would be screwed as well. In the Transfer Portal it's very rare that teams have more than 1 starting caliber QB on their roster because they hit the portal if they aren't playing.

He already has multiple schools willing to pay him.
Like I said, If I'm UTenn I'm calling his bluff. I'm stealing someone elses Qb for 25% less and then spending another $2M on surrounding pieces and trying to win without him if he chooses to leave.
He's very talented. But his actual production this past year was mid, and UTenns offense isn't some super complicated thing that requires some top qb to run.

You can't set the precedence of contract adjustments or other players will do the same thing. It's like when our basketball players randomly wanted to redo contracts when they saw how much our transfers were getting paid to come

Did they think he picked Tennessee because of the rich tradition and hillbilly drunk white girls???

He came there from Cali because they gave him a samsonite upfront and they acting surprised he wants more???

LOL…bring back Pruitt and the McDonald’s bags at least he knew the game.

Huepel looks like he pitches coed softball on Tuesday nights. He had no clue how to play the money game.

Usually I am not a fan of bashing a guy who played one year of football at a high level but I do understand the criticism due to lofty expectations and hype.
ESPN especially made this guy out to be some sort of super star the first month of the season when he was beating up on little sisters of the poor.
In this world of kids basically being professionals and making cash they have to deal with this type of criticism. It is inevitable.
And LOL at Tennessee for being in this situation.
